5,119,225 AMD to the Children of the Regions Foundation. January's beneficiary is the "Armath" educational program

The year 2024 for "The Power of One Dram" initiative concluded with a result of 5,119,225 drams, which was fully allocated to support the annual regional forum “Face to Face: Dialogue of Generations” organized by the “Children of the Regions in the Regions” Foundation, scheduled for March. The first beneficiary of 2025 is the DigiCode 2025 Youth applied programming competition, part of the UATE "Armath" Engineering Makerspaces educational program. 

Tatevik Vardevanyan, head of the Communication and SR Programs Department of Idram and IDBank, highlights: “The exclusivity and innovation of the ‘Armath’ educational program revitalized, motivated, and provided a forward-thinking vision to Armenia’s technology education sector many years ago. It has created an invaluable educational foundation while also contributing to the professional orientation of schoolchildren. Today, ‘Armath’ is responsible for cultivating a skilled workforce in technology fields across our country. We are confident that this educational initiative, implemented through the collaboration of ‘The Power of One Dram’ and ‘Armath,’ will bring about significant positive changes in the lives of many Armenian students.”

Sargis Karapetyan, Executive Director of the UATE, believes that such collaborations greatly aid in the professional orientation of young people, encouraging their involvement and enthusiasm to participate in competitions and address community issues. "Moreover, DigiCode 2025 will provide an excellent opportunity to foster the idea of developing fintech projects among the youth, with the support of the financial and banking sector," added Sargis Karapetyan.
