"Unisport" Advances to the Main Round of the UEFA Futsal Champions League

Armenian champions and cup winners "Unisport" have secured a place in the main round of the UEFA Futsal Champions League after recording three consecutive victories in the preliminary round of the tournament. In their final group-stage match, "Unisport" defeated German champions "Weilimdorf" 5:2. Rafik Melikyan and Putrus Vasilev scored twice each for the Armenian side, while goalkeeper Bekbolot Akmataliev added another goal. With a maximum of 9 points, "Unisport" confidently finished first in Group E and will continue their campaign in the main round of the UEFA Futsal Champions League.

The main round matches will take place from October 27 to November 1 in Luxembourg. "Unisport's" opponents will be "Kauno Žalgiris (Lithuania), "Differdange 03" (Luxembourg) and "Doukas" (Greece).
