Շվեդիան AstraZeneca-ի 1 մլն չափաբաժին պատվաստանյութ կհատկացնի COVAX ծրագրին

Շվեդիան մտադիր է AstraZeneca անգլո-շվեդական ընկերության պատվաստանյութի մեկ մլն չափաբաժին հատկացնել COVAX միջազգային ծրագրին, որի նպատակն է արդար հիմունքով բոլոր երկրներին ապահովել կորոնավիրուսի դեմ պատվաստանյութով: ՏԱՍՍ գործակալության փոխանցմամբ` այս մասին երկուշաբթի տեղեկացրել է երկրի համագործակցության հարցերով նախարար Պեր Ուլսոն Ֆրիդը:

«Տեսնում ենք, թե ինչպես է մոլեգնում համավարակն աշխարհով մեկ: Մարդիկ մահանում են, աղքատությունն ավելանում է, իսկ երեխաները դեռ չեն վերադարձել դպրոցներ: Մենք պետք է անենք ամեն ինչ, ինչը մեր ուժերի սահմաններում է, որպեսզի դիմակայենք համավարակին և պայքարենք դրա դեմ ողջ աշխարհում: Շվեդիան արդեն առաջատարներից է COVAX համագործակցության ֆինանսավորման ոլորտում: Այժմ մենք նաև 1 մլն դեղաչափ կհատկացնենք, որպեսզի ավելի շատ մարդիկ հնարավորություն ունենան արագ պատվաստվել:

Շվեդ պաշտոնյան ընդգծել է, որ այժմ «նստելու և առկա չափաբաժնով բավարարվելու ժամանակը չէ»: Մինչ այդ նա հայտարարել էր, որ հենց Շվեդիայում պատվաստվեն ռիսկային խմբում ընդգրկված բոլոր քաղաքացիները, իշխանությունները կսկսեն պատվաստանյութ տրամադրել այլ երկրների:

Նախարարի խոսքով` հետագայում հակակորոնավիրուսային պատվաստանյութի նոր նվիրատվություններ կարվեն, սակայն դեռ հայտնի չէ, թե որ դեղամիջոցի մասին է խոսքը:   

Պատվաստման գործընթացը Շվեդիայում սկսվել է  դեկտեմբերի 27-ին: Կառավարության նպատակը մինչև 2021 թվականի օգոստոսի 15-ը չափահաս բնակչության շրջանում պատվաստումն ավարտին հասցնելն է: Ներկա պահին բնակչության մոտ 30 տոկոսն է պատվաստվել:

Շվեդիայում համավարակի ողջ ընթացքում կորոնավիրուսով վարակվել է ավելի քան 970 000 մարդ, մահացել` 14 հազարը:
