2021թ. հունիսի 2-ին՝ ժամը 10:58-ին, ահազանգ է ստացվել այն մասին, որ Երեւան քաղաքի Աբովյան փողոցում գտնվող «Մոսկվա» կինոթատրոնի դիմաց սպանություն է տեղի ունեցել: Անմիջապես դեպքի վայր է մեկնել քննչական-օպերատիվ խումբը եւ Երեւան քաղաքի Աբովյան 7 հասցեի դիմաց՝ ճանապարհի երթեւեկելի հատվածում, հայտնաբերել տղամարդու դի՝ գլխի շրջանում հրազենային վնասվածքով:

NEWS.am-ը Քննչական կոմիտեից տեղեկանում է, որ փաստի առթիվ ՀՀ քննչական կոմիտեի Երեւան քաղաքի քննչական վարչության Կենտրոն եւ Նորք-Մարաշ վարչական շրջանների քննչական բաժնում հարուցվել է քրեական գործ՝ սպանության եւ ապօրինի կերպով զենք ձեռք բերելու, պահելու, կրելու հատկանիշներով:

ՀՀ ոստիկանության աշխատակիցների հետ ձեռնարկված անհետաձգելի միջոցառումների արդյունքում պարզվել է հրազենային մահացու վիրավորում ստացած անձի ինքնությունը, ով հանդիսանում է Գավառ քաղաքի բնակիչ՝ ծնված 1971թ.:

Կատարվել են անհրաժեշտ քննչական եւ դատավարական այլ գործողություններ, այդ թվում՝ դեպքի վայրի զննություն, որի ընթացքում հայտնաբերվել եւ առգրավվել է կրակված պարկուճ, վերցվել են փորձանմուշներ, հարցաքննվել են դեպքին ականատես մի շարք վկաներ, քրեական գործով էական նշանակություն ունեցող հանգամանքներ պարզելու նպատակով նշանակվել են դատաձգաբանական, դիակի դատաբժշկական եւ դատագենետիկական փորձաքննություններ:
