«Սերժ Սարգսյանը նախօրեին հայտարարել էր, որ 24 ժամ է տալիս Նիկոլ Փաշինյանին, որ գոնե մեկ ապացույց ներկայացնի իր՝ կազինոներում իբրև թե ժողովրդից, բանակից թալանած գումարները մսխելու վերաբերյալ։ Եվ եթե չհրապարակի որևէ ապացույց, ապա ինքը այնպիսի փաստեր կհրապարակի նրա մասին, որ ուղղակի «ժողովուրդը կթքի Փաշինյանի երեսին։ 24 ժամը լրացավ, և Փաշինյանը որևէ փաստ չներկայացրեց, ուստի Սերժ Սարգսյանը՝ Գեղարքունիքի մարզում հանդիպման ժամանակ հրապարակեց իր խոստացած փաստը, որը ձայնագրություն էր այն մասին, թե ինչպես է Փաշինյանը տապալել բանակցային գործընթացը ու Հայաստանը տարել պատերազմի ու պարտության։

Այդ ձայնագրության մեջ Նիկոլ Փաշինյանը պատմում է, թե ինչպես են Պուտինը, Նազարբաևն ու Լուկաշենկոն իրեն համոզում լուծել Արցախյան հարցը` առաջարկելով «Լավրովի պլանը»: Սկանդալային որակված այդ ձայնագրության մեջ, իրականում, Փաշինյանը սկզբում բավականին հաջող մանևրում է` պնդելով, որ առանց Արցախի կարգավիճակի ճշգրտման այդ հարցը ընդհանրապես թեմա չէ: Ձայնագրության սկանդալային հատվածն այն էր, որ Փաշինյանը խոստովանում է, որ իրեն պետք է գժի տեղ դնի ու ոչ ադեկվատ ձևանա: Ու էդտեղ Պուտինը, Նազարբաևն էլ, Լուկաշենկոն էլ, ասում են՝ Ալիևը հասկանում է, որ Ղարաբաղն այլևս երբեք Ադրբեջանի կազմում չի լինի: «Ասում եմ՝ հոյակապ բան եք ասում: Եկեք գրենք դա թղթի վրա և դա կլինի մի թեմա, որն արդեն կլինի հետաքրքիր, որը ես սենց կդնեմ թևիս տակ, գնում եմ, ժողովրդին ասում եմ՝ ժողովուրդ ջան, մենք սենց առաջարկ ունենք, սա մեզ հետաքրքիր ա, թե չէ։ Ու էս ամեն ինչի արդյունքում․․․ես հասկացա, որ ինձ ուզում են դնեն էն նույն կանվեյերի վրա, որի վերջում խոսելով, ժպտալով, խմելով Ապրիլյան պատերազմն էր: Ինձ էդտեղ պարզ էր, էդտեղ իմ խնդիրը ձևակերպվեց, որ ինչ ձևով ուզում է լինի, պետք է էս կանվեյերի վրայից թռնել, թռնել ուրիշ տեղ հայտնվել, հաստատ դրա վրա չլինել: Դա կլինի, կներեք արտահայտությանս համար, կլինի մի քիչ գժի տեղ դնելով, դա կլինի մի քիչ ոչ ադեկվատ թվալով, դա կլինի մի քիչ բան լինելով, բայց դա կլինի, բայց այդ կոնվեյերից պետք է դուրս պրծնել: Ու այդ ժամանակ իրավիճակը շատ ռիսկային էր: Շատ չափազանց ռիսկային էր»,- ասվում է ձայնագրության մեջ:

«Հասկանու՞մ եք, նա պարզ ասում է, որ ինքը ամեն ինչ անելու է, որ նախկին բանակցած փաստաթղթերը զրոյանան, ինքը ասում է , որ իրեն պատրաստ է գժի տեղ է դնելու։ Եզրակացությունն այն է, որ այս մարդը գիժ չի, էս մարդը իրեն գժի տեղ է դրել»,- ձայնագարությունը հրապարակելուց հետո ասել է Սերժ Սարգսյանը։

Ձայնագրությունից, սակայն, չի զգացվում, թե որտեղ և ում հետ է Փաշինյանը խոսում:

Մենք տեղեկացանք, որ ձայնագրությունն արվել է 2019 թվականի նոյեմբերին, Երևանում, երբ Փաշինյանն ընդունել էր Արցախի նախագահ Արայիկ Հարությունյանի կուսակցության պատվիրակությանն ու պատմել այս ամենը: Հավանաբար՝ կուսակցության անդամներից մեկը, որը մասնակցել է հանդիպմանը, ձայնագրել է Նիկոլ Փաշինյանի խոսքը»,-գրում է թերթը։
