Հոլիվուդյան գերաստղ Մերիլ Սթրիփն անդրադարձել է իր 45-ամյա կինոկարիերայի ամենահայտնի դերերից մեկին, որը խաղացել է «Սատանան Պրադա է կրում» ֆիլմում: Խոսքը նորաձևության ոլորտի ամենահայտնի ամսագրերից մեկի գլխավոր խմբագրի` Միրանդա Փրիսլիի դերի մասին է, գրում է Daily Mail-ը:

Արդեն դասական դարձած ֆիլմի 15-ամյակի կապակցությամբ 71-ամյա Սթրիփն ուշագրավ մանրամասներ է հայտնել` խոստովանելով, որ իրականում «ընկճախտի» մեջ է ընկել Միրանդայի կերպարը մարմնավորելիս:

Երեք անգամ հեղինակավոր «Օսկար» մրցանակի արժանացած Սթրիփը նշել է, որ «սառնասիրտ խմբագրի կերպարի մեջ մտնելն ուղղակի սարսափելի էր իր համար»: Նա որոշել է դիմել «դերասանական մեթոդի» օգնությանը, որը բավականին տարածված է այլ աստղերի շրջանում, օրինակ` Դենիել Դեյ Լյուիսի և Դենիս Հոփերի:

Այն ենթադրում է դերասանական խաղի նախապատրաստական մի փուլ, որի ընթացքում օգտագործվում են տարբեր մեթոդներ և տեխնիկաներ՝ դերասանի կողմից ավելի անկեղծ և հուզականորեն արտահայտիչ ներկայացում ստանալու համար։ Ըստ այդմ, Սթրիփը շարունակում էր սառնասիրտ և գոռոզ խմբագրի կերպարում մնալ նույնիսկ այն ժամանակ, երբ տեսախցիկների առջև չէր:

«Դա սարսափելի էր: Անձնակազմի մյուս անդամները ուրախանում էին, ծիծաղում, իսկ ես այնքան ընկճված էի: Բայց դա այն գինն էր, որը պետք է վճարեի ղեկավար խաղալու համար»,-նշել է դերասանուհին, որն այս դերի համար առաջադրվել էր «Օսկար»-ի:
