Ն.Ս.Օ.Տ.Տ. Արամ Ա. Կաթողիկոսը Վատիկանում մի շարք հանդիպումներ է ունեցել: Այս մասին հայտնում են Մեծի տանն Կիլիկիո հայկական եկեղեցու ֆեյսբուքյան էջում:

«Ն.Ս.Օ.Տ.Տ. ԱՐԱՄ Ա. ԿԱԹՈՂԻԿՈՍԻՆ ՀԱՆԴԻՊՈՒՄՆԵՐԸ ՎԱՏԻԿԱՆԻ ՄԷՋ
Իր Վատիկան միօրեայ կեցութեան ընթացքին, Ֆրանչիսկոս Պապին եւ քրիստոնեայ հոգեւոր պետերուն հետ տեղի ունեցած ժողովին առընթեր, Արամ Ա. Վեհափառ Հայրապետը ունեցաւ շարք մը այլ հանդիպումներ.-
1) Երկար հանդիպում մը ունեցաւ Վատիկանի միջ-եկեղեցական յարաբերութեանց բաժանմունքի նախագահ քարտինալ Քոխին հետ՝ էքիւմէնիք շարժումին պարզած ներկայ կացութեան եւ անոր նոր թափ տալու կարելիութիւններուն մասին։ Միջ-եկեղեցական շարժումին ապագային առնչուած Վեհափառ Հայրապետին պարզած մտահոգութիւններուն ու կատարած առաջարկներուն շուրջ որոշուեցաւ խորհրդակցութիւնները շարունակել։
2) Վատիկանի մօտ Լիբանանի ու Հայաստանի դեսպաններուն՝ դոկտ. Ֆարիտ Էլ Խազէնի եւ Կարէն Նազարեանի հետ միատեղ հանդիպում ունեցաւ եւ անոնց պարզեց հոգեւոր պետերու ժողովին առնչուած կարեւոր մանրամասնութիւններ։ Լիբանանի դեսպանը առաջարկեց, որ Լիբանանը դէպի վերականգնում առաջնորդող ժողովին պատկերացումները եւ այս ծիրէն ներս Վեհափառ Հայրապետին կատարած առաջարկներուն քննարկումը շարունակուին Րաաի Պատրիարքին եւ Նորին Սրբութեան գլխաւորութեամբ, Վատիկանի հետ խորհրդակցութեամբ եւ իսլամ համայնքապետերու գործակցութեամբ։ 
3) Կարճ այցելութիւն մը տուաւ Հայաստանի դեսպանատուն եւ իր գնահատանքը յայտնեց Հայաստանի ու Վատիկանի դիւանագիտական յարաբերութիւնները աւելի ամրացնելու ձգտող դեսպանին կատարած աշխատանքներուն։ Այս ծիրէն ներս Հայրապետը ջերմօրէն ողջունեց շուտով Երեւանի մէջ Պապական Նուիրակ ունենալու Վատիկանի որոշումը, զոր Վեհափառ Հայրապետին յայտնեցին թէ՛ Վատիկանի արտաքին գործոց նախարար Քալակար եպիսկոպոսը եւ թէ դեսպանը։
4) Հարցազրոյց ունեցաւ Վատիկանի պաշտօնական լրատուամիջոցին հետ՝ հայերէն ու անգլերէն լեզուներով, որուն ընթացքին Վեհափառ Հայրապետը ընդհանուր գծերով պարզեց ժողովին քննարկած նիւթերը»,- հայտնում են էջում։
