Եգիպտոսի բանակը հայտարարել է Սինայան թերակղզում 89 ահաբեկիչներին ոչնչացնելու մասին

Եգիպտոսի բանակը հայտարարել է ավելի քան ութսուն ահաբեկչի վնասազերծման մասին Սինայան թերակղզում գործողության ընթացքում, հաղորդում է Ինտերֆաքս-ը:

«Ահաբեկչական ուժերին հետապնդման շարունակական միջոցների շրջանակում զինված ուժերն անցկացրել են գործողություններ, որոնց ընթացքում Սինայան կղզու հյուսիսային մասում սպանվել է 89 վտանգավոր ծայրահեղական»,-նշված է զինվորականների հայտարարության մեջ:

Եգիպտացի զինվորականները վնասազերծել են 404 ինքնաշեն պայթուցիկ սարք եւ քանդել 13 թունել, որոնք ահաբեկիչներն օգտագործել են Եգիպտոսի տարածք ներթափանցելու համար: Սակայն զինվորականներն ութ մարդ են կորցրել:

Եգիպտական զորքերը երկար ժամանակ է պայքար են վարում հիմնականում ԻՊ-ի հետ կապված ահաբեկիչների դեմ Սինայան թերակղզում: Ահաբեկիչների հարձակումներն ակտիվացել են 2013 թվականին, երբ իշխանությունից հեռացվել էր Եգիպտոսի նախագահ Մուհամեդ Մուրսին՝ «Մուսուլման եղբայրներ» շարժման առաջնորդներից մեկը:

2018 թվականից Եգիպտոսի զինվորականներն անցկացնում են համազգային գործողություն ընդդեմ ծայրահեղականների՝ գլխավորապես կենտրոնանալով Սինայան թերակղզու հյուսիսում եւ երկրի արեւմտյան անապատային շրջաններում:

Ստացված տեղեկություններով՝ Սինայան թերակղզում սպանվել է շուրջ 1 060 ահաբեկիչ եւ անվտանգության ուժերի տասնյակ ծառայողներ:
