ԵՊՀ Արևելագիտության ֆակուլտետի դեկան Ռուբեն Մելքոնյանը ֆեյսբուքյան իր էջում գրառում է արել, որում անդրադարձել է «Քաղաքացիական պայմանագիր» խմբակցության պատգամավոր Վահան Ալեքսանյանի այսօրվա հայտարարությանը։ Գրառման մեջ ասվում է․

«Այսօր տեղեկացա, որ Ազգային ժողովում ճակատագրի հեգնանքով հայտնված մեկը, ում անվանումը և դեմքը ասոցացվում է փոքրամասշտաբ բեռներ տեղափոխելու համար նախատեսված իրի՝ ուսապարկի հետ, կրկին սուտ է խոսել ԵՊՀ արևելագիտության ֆակուլտետում իբրև առկա բարքերի և դեկանի, այսինքն՝ իմ մասին:

Ի ամոթ մեզ՝ արևելագետներիս, համանուն ֆակուլտետը Կոկա-Կոլայի պես կրկին փորձելով մի կերպ ավարտածը պնդում է, թե իբրև դեկանը ընդդիմադիր ուսանողներին ժամանակին ուղղորդել է և պահանջել է չքննադատել Հայաստանի այն ժամանակվա նախագահ Սերժ Սարգսյանին, քանի որ դա կարող է ազդել իրենց առաջադիմության վրա:

Նախ՝ կոնկրետ այդ պերսոնաժի պարագայում առաջադիմության և պատվի վրա այլևս ոչինչ չի կարող ազդել: Արևելքում դաժան պատժի ձև կար, որը կիրառվում էր հատկապես կրթական որոշակի ցենզ ունեցողի հանդեպ՝ նրան նույն սենյակում էին փակում հիմարի հետ, ով խոսում էր այն, ինչից նա հմուտ է՝ հիմարություն:

Ուստի, չուզենալով կամովին ինձ դատապարտել այդ պատժին` Ավետիք Իսահակյանի պես մտածում էի, թե ինչ լավություն եմ արել այդ «արևելագետին», որ հարուցել եմ նման երախտամոռություն և հիշեցի, որ թույլ եմ տվել սահմանված ժամկետների խախտումով (ուշ էր ներկայացրել աշխատանքը ղեկավարին) մասնակցել դիպլոմային աշխատանքի պաշտպանության և մի կերպ ավարտել ԵՊՀ-ն:

Հ.Գ. Իմաստունն ասում էր. «սա էլ կանցնի». այո, քաղաքական և մարդկային տիղմը որոշ ժամանակ անց, փոթորկի հանդարտվելուց հետո կիջնի իր համար նախատեսված վայրը»։
