Մենք, իհարկե, անում ենք այն, ինչ կարող ենք, որ երկու կողմերին կրկին վերադարձնենք Մինսկի խմբի ներքո բանակցությունների սեղանի շուրջ, որովհետև կարծում ենք, որ բանակցությունների միջոցով հարցը պետք է կարգավորվի: Այս մասին լրագրողների հետ ճեպազրույցում ասաց ՀՀ-ում ԱՄՆ դեսպան Լին Թրեյսին` անդրադառնալով հարցին՝ իր կարծիքով՝ Երևանն ու Բաքուն երբևէ կվերադառնա՞ն ԵԱՀԿ Մինսկի խմբի բանակցությունների ձևաչափ, երբ Բաքուն պարբերաբար հայտարարում է, որ Արցախի կարգավիճակի հարց չի քննարկում:

«ԱՄՆ պետքարտուղար Էնթոնի Բլինքեն տարբեր առիթներով շատ հստակ շարադրել է մեր այս հանձնառությունը: Եվ, իհարկե, 30 տարվա պատերազմի և լարվածության իրավիճակը մեկ գիշերվա ընթացքում չի կարող լուծվել, սակայն կան հիմնավոր բաներ, որոնք մենք կարևորում ենք: Ինչպես նշեցի՝ մենք չենք համարում, որ Լեռնային Ղարաբաղի կարգավիճակը լուծված է, և այն մնալու է Մինսկի խմբի օրակարգում»,-ասաց նա:

Հարցին՝ երկխոսության նախադրյալներ տեսնու՞մ է ԱՄՆ-ն, Թրեյսին արձագանքեց «Ես չեմ ուզում կողմերի անունից խոսել, նախադրյալների մասին խոսել, բայց Հայաստանի կառավարությունը հստակ նշել է, որ ավելի լայնածավալ գործողությունների, քննարկումների չի անցնի, քանի դեռ գերիների հարցը չի լուծվել: Ինչպես գիտեք` ԱՄՆ-ն որոշակի քայլեր գործադրել է, մեր ռուսաստանյան գործընկերները ևս ջանքեր գործադրել են, և որոշակի հաջողություն ունեցել ենք: Մենք հույս ունենք, որ կգանք մի կետի, երբ բոլոր գերիները կվերադառնան»:

Ըստ ՀՀ-ում ԱՄՆ դեսպանի՝ չկա կատարյալ հարթակ, բայց Մինսկի խումբն ունի մանդատ, լեգիտիմություն: «Մենք դեռևս այն դիտարկում ենք բանակցությունների համար համապատասխան հարթակ»,-նշեց Թրեյսին:

Դիտարկմանը, թե ՀՀ ՄԻՊ-ը զեկույցը Ադրբեջանում հայ գերիների սպանությունների, խոշտանգումների վերաբերյալ զեկույց է ներկայացրել, և որն է Թրեյսիի դիրքորոշումը, վերջինս արձագանքեց.

«Մենք կոչ ենք անում բոլոր երկրներին և բոլոր անհատներին հարգել մարդու հիմնարար իրավունքները: Ինչ վերաբերում է ՄԻՊ-ի ու այլ աղբյուրներից ստացված զեկույցներին, մենք ուշադիր հետևում ենք բոլոր նմանատիպ դրսևորումներին, շարունակելու ենք հետևել և համագործակցել բոլոր կողմերի հետ՝ նրանց կողմից մարդու իրավունքների պաշտպանությունը ապահովելու համար»,-ասաց ՀՀ-ում ԱՄՆ դեսպանը:
