ԱԺ Մարդու իրավունքների պաշտպանության և հանրային հարցերի մշտական հանձնաժողովի նախագահ Թագուհի Թովմասյանը սոցացնցի իր էջում գրում է․

«Սիրո և համերաշխության մթնոլորտը ամենևին էլ ՏԻՄ ընտրությունների մասին չէ։
Շուրջ մեկ ամիս է տարբեր համայնքներում ականատես ենք լինում քաղաքական հետապնդումների, տպավորություն է, որ իշխանության կողմից գործադրվում են անօրեն մեխանիզմներ, իսկ նպատակը մեկն է՝ համայնքապետ պետք է դառնա իշխանության հավանությունը ստացած թեկնածուն։

Փարաքարը երկար ժամանակ է, ինչ կռվախնձոր է դարձել։ Ավագանու նիստերը տապալվում են, և այդպես էլ համայնքապետ չի ընտրվում։ Իշխող ուժը պարտություն է կրել, իսկ ընդդիմությունը չի կարողացել հավաքել 50%+1 ձայն։ Վարչական դատարանն անվավեր էր ճանաչել Փարաքարի ավագանու որոշումը՝ համայնքի ղեկավարի ընտրության վերաբերյալ: Եվ այսօր նախատեսված նիստի ժամանակ ավագանին պիտի կրկին փորձեր համայնքապետ ընտրել։ Բայց չի ստացվում։
Իսկ սիրո և համերաշխության թեզերով առաջնորդվող իշխանության ներկայացուցիչները հերթական անգամ անհամաչափ ուժ են գործադրում ՀՀ քաղաքացու նկատմամբ։ Իշխանությունը շարունակաբար օգտագործում է ՀՀ հպարտ քաղաքացիներին ճնշելու գործիքակազմ՝ խախտելով քաղաքացիների իրավունքները, ովքեր ունեն իրենց բողոքը արտահայտելու իրավունքը։
Եվս մեկ անգամ հորդորում եմ․ ոստիկանությունը պետք է ցուցաբերի քաղաքական չեզոքություն՝ պահպանելով բացառապես օրենքի տառը»:
