Հոնկոնգի ներքին գործերի նախարար Կասպար Ցույը հրաժարական է տվել շաբաթներ անց այն բանից, երբ կորոնավիրուսային սահմանափակումների ժամանակ մասնակցել է Չինաստանի ազգային օրենսդիր մարմնի Հոնկոնգի պատվիրակի ծննդյան տարեդարձին, հայտնում է DW-ն։

Խնջույքը տեղի է ունեցել հունվարի 3-ին, ռեստորանում՝ Վիտման Հանգի ծննդյան օրվա առթիվ։ Ներկա է եղել ավելի քան 200 մարդ, այդ թվում՝ տարածքային ոստիկանության բարձրաստիճան պաշտոնյաներ, ինչպես նաեւ ներգաղթի եւ հակակոռուպցիոն ծառայությունների ղեկավարներ: Ներկա են եղել նաեւ մոտ 20 պատգամավորներ։

Ներկաների ցուցակը հայտնի է դարձել այն բանից հետո, երբ առողջապահական մարմինները արարողությանը ներկա վարակված անձ են հայտնաբերել։ Սա զայրացրել է Հոնկոնգի գործադիր իշխանության ղեկավար Քերի Լամին, քանի որ կառավարությունը «զրո COVID» խիստ քաղաքականություն է վարում:

Իշխանությունները հայտնել են, որ ռեստորան մտնելիս Ցույը չի օգտագործել կոնտակտների հետագծման կառավարության հավելվածը, ինչն այժմ պարտադիր է: Նա նաեւ դիմակ չի կրել՝ չնայած այն կանոնին, որ պետք է կրել, եթե չես ուտում եւ չես խմում։
