Եթե ​​Հայաստանը վճռական լինի երկու երկրների հատուկ ներկայացուցիչների նախաձեռնած գործընթացն առաջ տանելու հարցում, ապա Թուրքիայի կողմից փակ սահմանները փակ պահելու անհրաժեշտություն չի լինի։ Այս մասին հայտարարել է նախագահ Ռեջեփ Թայիփ Էրդողանը, գրում է Anadolu֊ն։ Թուրքիայի ղեկավարն ասել է, որ հայ-թուրքական հարաբերությունների կարգավորման հարցը բարձրացվել է նաև Սենեգալում Գերմանիայի նախագահ Ֆրանկ-Վալտեր Շտայնմայերի հետ հանդիպման ժամանակ։

Էրդողանը հիշեցրել է Երևանի հետ երկխոսության վերաբերյալ իր նախկին հայտարարությունը. «Ես արդեն ասել եմ, որ Անկարան պատրաստ է փոխադարձ քայլեր ձեռնարկել Հայաստանի ցանկացած դրական նախաձեռնության դեպքում։ Այս տարածաշրջանը [Հարավային Կովկասը] խաղաղության, կայունության և բարգավաճման կարիք ունի։ Ուստի, թուրքական իշխանությունները անկեղծ քայլեր են ձեռնարկել՝ սկսելու հարաբերությունների կարգավորման գործընթացը։ Այս գործընթացը օգտակար է համարում նաև իմ եղբայր Իլհամը [Ալիևը]։ Մեզ գոհացնում է նաև Հայաստանի կամքը Թուրքիայի հետ հարաբերությունների կարգավորման հարցում»,- ասել է Թուրքիայի ղեկավարը։

Էրդողանը հիշեցրել է հունվարի 14-ին Մոսկվայում Թուրքիայի և Հայաստանի հատուկ ներկայացուցիչների հանդիպումը, ինչպես նաև ուշադրություն հրավիրել փետրվարի 24-ին Վիեննայում նախատեսված բանակցությունների վրա։ «Մենք տեղյակ ենք Հայաստանի մի շարք կոնկրետ ակնկալիքների մասին՝ կապված սահմանի բացման և դիվանագիտական ​​հարաբերությունների հաստատման հետ։ Եթե ​​Հայաստանը վճռական մնա հատուկ ներկայացուցիչների նախաձեռնած գործընթացն առաջ տանելու հարցում, ապա Թուրքիայի կողմից փակ սահմանները պահպանելու անհրաժեշտություն չի լինի։ Ինչպես հայտնի է, Ստամբուլ-Երևան օդային հաղորդակցությունը վերսկսվել է փետրվարի սկզբին։ Ակնկալում ենք, որ Երևանը կպահպանի դրական մոտեցումը»,- ասել է նա։

Միաժամանակ նա ընդգծել է, որ Ադրբեջանի և Հայաստանի հարաբերությունների հարցը սերտորեն կապված է Անկարայի և Երևանի հարաբերությունների կարգավորման հետ։ «Բոլոր կողմերը պետք է օգտագործեն տարածաշրջանային համագործակցության պատմական հնարավորությունը։ Թուրքիան կշարունակի սերտորեն աշխատել Ադրբեջանի հետ այդ հարցերի շուրջ»,- հավելել է Էրդողանը:
