Վաղը Բրյուսելում կկայանա ՆԱՏՕ-ի անդամ երկրների առաջնորդների արտահերթ գագաթնաժողովը: Ակնկալվում է, որ վաղվա հավաքի ընթացքում Էրդողանը հանդիպումներ կունենա մի շարք երկրների ղեկավարների, այդ թվում՝ ԱՄՆ նախագահի հետ: 

Թեմայի շուրջ 1or.am-ը զրուցել է քաղաքագետ Ռուբեն Մեհրաբյանի հետ.

«Վաղը կայանալիք վեհաժողովը ժամանակային առումով զուգահեռված է Բայդենի այցին Եվրոպա: Այդ ընթացքում, բացի ՆԱՏՕ-ի վեհաժողովից, նախատեսվում է նաև Մեծ յոթնյակի և Եվրամիության գագաթնաժողովները: Բնականաբար, այս երեք գագաթնաժողովներն օրգանապես շաղկապված են միմյանց իրենց օրակարգով և նպատակով, և կենտրոնական խնդիրը, որը նրանք կոչված են բարձրացնելու և լուծումներ գտնելու, իհարկե, աշխարհակարգի այն փոփոխություններն են, որոնք տեղի են ունենում Ուկրաինայում ծավալվող իրադարձությունների բերումով: Մինչև փետրվարի 24-ը գոյություն ունեցող աշխարհակարգն այլևս գոյություն չունի, իսկ նորը դե՛ռ գոյություն չունի: Եվ այս միջանկյալ ժամանակաշրջանում ռիսկերը կառավարելիության հունի մեջ պահելուն ուղղված ջանքերից է հենց լինելու հիմնական քննարկումը»:

Խոսելով վաղը կայանալիք վեհաժողովից տարածաշրջանային անվտանգության առումով ունեցած սպասելիքներից՝ Մեհրաբյանը նշեց.

«Բնականաբար, մեզ ավելի շատ մոտ է հենց մե՛ր տարածաշրջանի օրակարգը: Այստեղ ես չեմ կարծում, որ դա ինչ-որ ճեղքումներ խոստացող լուծումների բերի, թեկուզ հենց այն պարզ պատճառով, որ ո՛չ Հայաստանը, ո՛չ Ադրբեջանն այնտեղ մասնակցություն չունեն: Եվ, ընդհանրապես, հաշվի առնելով այս պրոբլեմների մասշտաբը, պետք է լավ պատկերացնենք, որ մեր տարածաշրջանն այդ իմաստով շատ մեծ կարևորություն չունի այդ հարթակներում և ավելին սպասել այս պահին ուղղակի իրատեսական չէ»:

Քաղաքագետի պնդմամբ՝ ռուս-ուկրաինական հակամարտության կարգավորման առումով էլ պետք չէ մեծ հույսեր կապել ՆԱՏՕ-ի վեհաժողովի հետ.

«Ռուս-ուկրաինական հակամարտության կարգավորում չի լինելու, մոռացե՛ք այդ մասին, այս պատերազմը վերջանալու է միայն կողմերից մեկի վերջնական պարտությամբ, որովհետև շատ պարզ պետք է հասկանալ, որ երկու կողմերի համար էլ հետքայլն այլևս անընդունելի է, նույնիսկ եթե դրա մասին խոսակցություններ էլ կան»:
