«Հրապարակ» թերթը գրում է․ «ԱԺ նախագահ Ալեն Սիմոնյանը ստորագրել է կարգադրություն՝ ԱԺ արտաքին հարաբերությունների մշտական հանձնաժողովի նախագահ Էդուարդ Աղաջանյանին, իշխանական պատգամավորներ Մարիա Կարապետյանին եւ Սարգիս Խանդանյանին, ինչպես նաեւ ԱԺ աշխատակազմի մի քանի աշխատակցի ապրիլի 2-3-ը, այսինքն՝ շաբաթ-կիրակի ոչ աշխատանքային օրերին Գորիս գործուղելու մասին: ԱԺ նախագահը կարգադրությունը ստորագրել է ապրիլի 1-ին, խորհրդարանի պաշտոնական կայքում հրապարակվել է երեկ՝ ապրիլի 5-ին։ Բացի այդ, կարգադրության մեջ պարտադիր պայման է՝ նշել գործուղման նպատակը, այն միջոցառումը, որին մասնակցելու են պատգամավորները, մինչդեռ վերոնշյալ կարգադրության մեջ ընդամենը «աշխատանքային այցով» ձեւակերպումն է տրված։

Մենք պարզեցինք, որ պատգամավորները միայնակ չեն գնացել Գորիս, նրանց հետ եղել են Հայաստան ժամանած Մեծ Բրիտանիայի պառլամենտի ներկայացուցիչները՝ հայ-բրիտանական բարեկամական խմբի անդամները, որոնց այցը Սյունիք, ի դեպ, գաղտնի է պահվում՝ անգամ Սյունիքի մարզպետարանի էջում չգտանք, թեպետ, մեր տեղեկություններով, մարզպետ Ռոբերտ Ղուկասյանն անձամբ է դիմավորել նրանց։

Ուշագրավ է, որ Գորիս գործուղված օրենսդիրները չեն հանդիպել տեղի համայնքային ղեկավարության հետ։ Մեզ ասացին՝ այցելել են սահմանամերձ համայնքներ, դիտարկել են տարածքը։ Ասացին նաեւ, որ Գորիսի հյուրանոցներից մեկում հայ եւ բրիտանացի պատվիրակները հանդիպել են Արցախի պաշտոնատար անձանցից մի քանիսի հետ, թե ում՝ կփորձենք առաջիկայում պարզել։ Փորձեցինք ԱԺ նախագահի խոսնակից պարզել այցի մանրամասները, սակայն նա ասաց, որ իրեն հայտնի չէ, ուղղորդեց գործուղման մեկնած պատգամավորների կողմը, որոնք չպատասխանեցին մեր զանգերին»:
