ԵԱՀԿ Մինսկի խմբի ձևաչափի մասին մեր ընկալումներն այլ են, մենք այս ձևաչափով աշխատելու վերաբերյալ պատրաստակամություն ստացել ենք ԵԱՀԿ Մինսկի խմբի համանախագահող երեք երկրներից էլ, այս մասին Հանրային հեռուստաընկերության եթերում Պետրոս Ղազարյանի հետ զրույցում ասել է ԱԺ արտաքին հարաբերությունների մշտական հանձնաժողովի նախագահ Էդուարդ Աղաջանյանը՝ պատասխանելով հարցին, թե ինչպես կմեկնաբանի ՌԴ արտգործնախարար Սերգեյ Լավրովի հայտարարությանը, թե Արեւմուտքը չեղարկել է ԵԱՀԿ Մինսկի խմբի եռանախագահությունը։

«Մեր դիրքորոշումը կամ մեր ընկալումները այլ են, և ռուսական կողմից բնականաբար, թերևս, անհրաժեշտություն չկա դրա մասին խոսել, ռուսական կողմից մենք ունենք դրական ազդակներ, պատրաստակամություն շարունակելու այս ձևաչափով աշխատանքները։ Եվ նույն պատրաստակամությունը, ըստ էության, առանձին շփումներում ստացել ենք թե՛ Ֆրանսիայի, թե՛ ԱՄՆ մեր գործընկերների հետ»,– ասել է նա։

Էդուարդ Աղաջանյանը հավելել է, որ այդ առանձին շփումներում ԱՄՆ-ն և Ֆրանսիան, այնուամենայնիվ, ընդգծել են, որ այս ժամանակահատվածը որոշակի դժվարություններ և բարդություններ է ստեղծում իրենց ռուս գործընկերոջ հետ մեկ սեղանի շուրջ նստելու տեսանկյունից։ «Եվ ենթադրում եմ, որ նույն խնդիրը հակառակ կողմում ևս հնարավոր է, որ լինի»,– ասել է նա։

Հարցին, թե արդյոք սա չի նշանակում, որ հարկավոր է նոր ձևաչափ փնտրելու, Էդուարդ Աղաջանյանն ասել է․«Ոչ, ես հենց դրան էի ուզում անդրադառնալ։ Ես կարծում եմ, որ սա առնվազն նշանակում է, որ Մինսկի խմբի գործունեության ակտուալությունը որևէ կերպ չի կարելի հարցականի տակ դնել»։

Դիտարկմանը, թե Սերգեյ Լավրովն ասել է, որ Արևմուտքը չեղարկել է Մինսկի խմբի եռանախագահությունը, Էդուարդ Աղաջանյանն արձագանքել է․«Դա Լավրովի ընկալումն է։ Ես վստահ եմ, որ այս լարված ֆոնին, բնականաբար, նմանատիպ ընկալումներ հնարավոր են, այդ թվում՝ մյուս կողմի մեր գործընկերների համար։ Եվ այստեղ կարևոր է արձանագրել, որ Հայաստանի և հայկական կողմի շահերից է բխում որևէ կերպ հարցականի տակ չդնել Մինսկի խմբի համանախագահության ձևաչափը։ Եվ սրա համար բոլոր հիմքերը կան՝ հաշվի առնելով մեր գործընկերների հետ առանձին–առանձին մեր շփումները։ Եվ հայկական կողմը հեռու է այն մտքից, որ Մինսկի խմբի համանախագահության ձևաչափը կորցրել է իր գործունակությունը և ակտուալությունը և հայկական կողմն ամեն ինչ անելու է, որպեսզի այս ձևաչափով վերստին սկսվեն և շարունակվեն այն բանակցությունները, որոնք ընդհատվել են պատերազմից հետո»։
