«ԱՐԱՐ» հիմնադրամի համահիմնադիր, հասարակական-քաղաքական գործիչ Ավետիք Չալաբյանի դեմ հերթական ապօրինությունն է իրականացվել։ Չալաբյանի փաստաբանական խմբի տարածած հայտարարության համաձայն՝ մայիսի 14-ից կալանավորված Ավետիք Չալաբյանի երկամսյա կալանքը պետք է ավարտվի հուլիսի 12-ին, և դատարանը պետք է քններ կալանքը երկարաձգելու կամ Ավետիք Չալաբյանին ազատ արձակելու հարցը։

Ընդ որում ի սկզբանե նշում էին, որ գործը էլեկտրոնային համակարգի միջոցով մակագրվել է դատավոր Արշակ Վարդանյանին։ Վարդանյանի գրասենյակից փաստաբաններին հայտնել են, թե իրենք այդպիսի գործ ընդհանրապես չեն ստացել։ Փաստաբանները մի քանի զանգերից հետո կարողանում են պարզել, որ գործը մակագրվել է դատավոր Տիգրան Սիմոնյանին, ընդ որում մակագրումն իրականացվել է ոչ թե էլեկտրոնային համակարգի միջոցով, որտեղ կանխամտածված գործողությունները գրեթե բացառվում են, այլ արդեն ձեռքով է մակագրվել։

Ըստ էության, իշխանությունները չեն վստահում դատավոր Արշակ Վարդանյանին և իրենց ավելի հավատարիմ դատավորի միջոցով ցանկանում են երկարաձգել Ավետիք Չալաբյանի կալանքը։ Այս ամենը վկայում է, որ իշխանությունները կանգ չեն առնում ապօրինության առջև։ Ընդ որում փաստաբանները նշում են, թե Չալաբյանի գործը մակագրվել է դատավորների վարկանիշավորման համակարգում ամենացածր ռեյտինգ ունեցող դատավորին։

Նշենք, որ վերաքննիչ դատարանում էլ Չալաբյանի գործը քննում էր մեկ այլ դատավոր, որը նույն վարկանիշային համակարգում իր բացասական վատթարագույն ռեյտինգով երկրորդն էր՝ Արմեն Դանիելյանը։ Նիկոլ Փաշինյանը գտել է դատական համակարգում դատավորների, որոնք մեծ հեղինակություն չեն վայելում, հայտնի են ապօրինի վճիռներ կայացնելու իրենց բազմաթիվ գործերով, սակայն պատրաստ են անմռունչ ծառայել Նիկոլ Փաշինյանին, կատարել նրա հանձնարարությունները և կալանավորել նրա ընդդիմախոսներին՝ այդ կերպ պահպանելով նաև իրենց դատավորի պաշտոնը։
