«Հայերն ու ազերիները կամ նրանց տարաբնույթ նախնիները երբեք բարեկամներ չեն եղել և, մի քանի դար ապրելով նույն տարածաշրջանում, շարունակաբար գտնվել են հակամարտ վիճակում։ Պարբերաբար այդ հակամարտությունները պայթել և վերածվել են մեծ պատերազմների»,- այս արձանագրումն արել է «ԱՐԱՐ» հիմնադրամի համահիմնադիր, հասարակական-քաղաքական գործիչ Ավետիք Չալաբյանը՝ նշելով, թե այն ինչ տեղի է ունեցել վերջին 20 տարիներին, Իլհամ Ալիևի իշխանության գալուց հետո, անցել է բոլոր հնարավոր սահմանները։

Ըստ Չալաբյանի՝ Ալիևը ծնել, սնել և դաստիարակել է մարդակեր բարբարոսների մի ողջ սերունդ, որի նպատակը ոչ միայն հայերին հաղթելն էր, այլ նրանց հոգեպես և ֆիզիկապես նվաստացնելը, սարսափահար անելը և սեփական հայրենիքից անվերադարձ տեղահանելը, դրան են միտված ահաբեկչության այս բոլոր մարդատյաց ակտերը։ Միևնույն ժամանակ, ըստ հասարակական-քաղաքական գործչի՝ մեր երկրում աճել է ծույլ, անողնաշար և անսկզբունք մարդկանց մի շերտ, որը նույնիսկ այս ամենը տեսնելուց հետո, շարունակում է հավատալ, թե թշնամու հետ հնարավոր է խաղաղություն, եթե մենք իրենց պահանջները բավարարենք։

«Սակայն իրենց պահանջը մեր ամբողջական ոչնչացումն է որպես տեսակ, կամ իրենց ենթակայության տակ ստրկական գոյություն քարշ տալը։ Ով հրապուրվում է այդպիսի հեռանկարով, թող շարունակի հավատալ Փաշինյանին և նրա խոստացած ապագային։ Ով սակայն փոքր-ինչ առողջ տրամաբանություն և ինքնապաշտպանության բնազդ ունի և ընդունակ է վերլուծել վերջին 4 տարիներին տեղի ունեցած իրադարձությունների շղթան, պետք է գիտակցի, որ միայն ռազմականացնելով մեր երկիրը և կոշտ հակահարված տալով այս բարբարոս գազաններին հնարավոր կլինի փակել նրանց ախորժակը, և նորից ստիպել մեզ հարգել ու հաշվի նստել մեր մարդկային իրավունքների հետ»,- նշում է հասարակական-քաղաքական գործիչը։

Ըստ Չալաբյանի՝ ոչ մի խաղաղության պայմանագիր սակայն չի փրկի Հայաստանը, եթե Հայաստանում իշխանության մնա Փաշինյանը, իսկ Ադրբեջանում՝ Ալիևը։ Այդ դեպքում Ադրբեջանը, օգտվելով յուրաքանչյուր պատեհ առիթից, կուլ կտա Հայաստանը մաս-մաս, ինչպես արել է մինչև հիմա՝ սկսելով Ջրականից և Հադրութից, այնուհետև Շուշի, Քարվաճառ, Բերձոր, հիմա էլ սպառնալով Ջերմուկին և Վարդենիսին։

«Քանի այս երկու գործընկերները իշխում են, յուրաքանչյուրը իրենց մայրաքաղաքներում, հայ ժողովուրդը չի տեսնելու խաղաղ օր, նրա որդիները շարունակելու են զոհվել թուրքական և իսրայելյան ԱԹՍ-ների հարվածներից, իսկ մեր երկրի տարածքները դիրք առ դիրք, սար առ սար, գյուղ առ գյուղ կրճատվելու են, ինչպես դա եղել է ողջ այս 4 տարիների ընթացքում, մեր բոլորի շփոթահար հայացքի առաջ»,- ցավով նշում է Ավետիք Չալաբյանը՝ հավելելով, որ եթե ցանկանում ենք պահպանել մեր երկիրը, ապրել ազատ, դաստիարակել այստեղ մեր երեխաներին, իրական ապագայի հեռանկար բացել նրանց առաջ, մենք պետք է ազատվենք այս երկու «քաղաքակիրթ» գործընկերներից։
