Վերջին երկու օրերին, ՀՀ իշխող ուժն ու ընդդիմադիրները խոսում էին այն մասին, թե ով է մեղավոր և ինչ է եղել անցյալում, բայց ոչ մեկը չէր ասում, թե ինչ ենք անելու 120 հազար մարդու համար, որոնց թվում են 30 հազար երեխա, որպեսզի նրանք Արցախում ապրելու հնարավորություն ունենան։ Այսօրվա իրավիճակը պարզ է՝ կամ մենք պայքարում ենք և այդ պայքարը նշանակում է շատ ծանր որոշումներ, կամ ենթարկվում ենք, իսկ դա նշանակում է կորցնում ենք մեր արժանապատվությունը։ Այս մասին «Ապրելու երկիր» կուսակցության համագումարի ժամանակ հայտարարեց Արցախի նախկին պետնախարար Ռուբեն Վարդանյանը։

«ՀՀ վարչապետը, ընդդիմությունը պետք է հասկանան՝ եթե շարունակենք միայն մեղավոր գտնել ու քննադատել իրար, ապա դա ապագա չունեցող ճանապարհ է։ Մենք զինվոր ենք, իսկ դա ոչ միայն զենքի, այլև գոյության մեջ է։ Ամեն օր մենք ապրում ենք, հանդիպումներ ենք ունենում, որոշումներ ենք կայացնում, բայց ինձ թվում է, որ մենք մինչև վերջ չենք ուզում ընդունել Հայրենական պատերազմի գաղափարը՝ ոչ թե մարտական դաշտում զոհվելու կամ չզոհվելու իրականությունը, այլ այն, թե ինչ պետք է անենք, որպեսզի կարողանանք հաղթահարել այս դժվարությունները»,-ասաց նա։

Վարդանյանի խոսքերով, պետք է հայատարարություններից զատ քայլեր ձեռնարկել․ «Ո՞նց է 120 հազար մարդ ապրելու Արցախում, պատասխանեք ինձ։ Եթե դուք ընդունում եք, որ նրանք Ադրբեջանի կազմի մեջ են, ո՞նց են այդ մարդիկ պահելու իրենց հայկական ոգին»,-նշեց նախկին պետնախախարը։
