Սիրելի հայրենակիցներ,
 
Այսօր մենք ոգեկոչում ենք Հայոց ցեղասպանության զոհերի հիշատակը։
 
108 տարի առաջ այս օրը, բնիկ ժողովուրդներին սպանդի ենթարկելով, ազգային պետություն կառուցելու քաղաքականությունը Թուրքիայում հասավ բարձրակետին։ Այդ քաղաքականության արդյունքում միլիոն ու կես հայեր սպանվեցին, իսկ մյուսները վտարվեցին իրենց հայրենի բնօրրանից։
 
Այսօր մենք ոչ միայն սգում ենք ու ոգեկոչում միլիոնավոր հայրենակիցների հիշատակը, այլև ի լուր աշխարհի փոխանցում ենք մեր հաստատակամությունը, որ այլևս երբեք թույլ չենք տալու, որպեսզի նման ողբերգությունները կրկնվեն։
 
Հայոց ցեղասպանությունից մեկ դար անց՝ իր պատմական հայրենիքում ապրող հայ ժողովրդի մեկ այլ հատվածն այսօր էլ կանգնած է ցեղասպանության ու տեղահանության վտանգի առաջ։ Կասկած չկա, որ Հայաստանի, Արցախի ու Սփյուռքի միասնության պարագայում թշնամին, որքան էլ իրեն հաղթած ու ուժեղ պատկերացնի, չի կարողանալու կոտրել մեր ազգային ոգին, սեփական հայրենիքում ապրելու և արարելու մեր աստվածատուր իրավունքը։
 
Ուստի ապրիլի 24-ի խորհուրդը մեկն է․ ոգեկոչելով անմեղ զոհերի հիշատակը՝ մենք մեր միասնության ձայնն ենք բարձրացնում։ Խորապես համոզված եմ, որ այդ միասնությունը մեզ դարձնելու է ավելի ուժեղ ու տոկուն, զորացնելու և զարգացնելու է մեր Հայրենիքը՝ երաշխավորելով մեր ժողովրդի անվտանգությունն ու բարեկեցիկ ապագան։
