Գերմանիայի Բունդեսթագի արտաքին հարաբերությունների հանձնաժողովի նախագահ Միխայել Ռոթն Ադրբեջանին մեղադրել է Լեռնային Ղարաբաղում էթնիկ զտում իրականացնելու մեջ։ Ռոթն այդ մասին գրել է «Թվիթեր»-ի իր միկրոբլոգում։

«Ադրբեջանն արգելափակում է մարդասիրական օգնությունը դեպի Լեռնային Ղարաբաղը։ Սա միջազգային իրավունքի խախտում է։ Նույնիսկ եթե Լեռնային Ղարաբաղը Ադրբեջանին է պատկանում, դա չի արդարացնում էթնիկ զտումները։ ԵՄ-ն և ԱՄՆ-ն պետք է հանդես գան հստակ դիրքորոշումով։ Հայաստանը չպետք է դառնա Ռուսաստանի «որսը»»,- գրել է Ռոթը՝ տարածելով t-online.de հեղինակավոր լրատվական կայքի հոդվածը Լեռնային Ղարաբաղում վերահաս ցեղասպանության մասին։

Ադրբեջանը հունիսի 15-ից ամբողջությամբ արգելափակել է Լաչինի միջանցքը, ինչի հետևանքով Լեռնային Ղարաբաղում հումանիտար իրավիճակն օր օրի սրվում է։ Ավելի քան 40 օր Լեռնային Ղարաբաղը զրկված է բոլոր տեսակի մատակարարումներից, կա սննդի, առաջին անհրաժեշտության ապրանքների, դեղորայքի պակաս։ Հայաստանը հուլիսի 26-ին հումանիտար օգնություն է ուղարկել Արցախ, սակայն Ադրբեջանն արգելել է բեռնատարների մուտքը Լեռնային Ղարաբաղ։ 19 բեռնատարները մինչ օրս կանգնած են Սյունիքի մարզի Կոռնիձոր բնակավայրում՝ Լաչինի միջանցքի սկզբնամասում։

Լաչինի միջանցքով տեղաշարժի սահմանափակ հնարավորություն ունի միայն Կարմիր խաչի միջազգային կոմիտեն, որի ուղեկցությամբ բուժման կարիք ունեցող քաղաքացիներ են  Արցախից տեղափոխվում Հայաստան, սակայն հուլիսի 29-ին Ադրբեջանն առևանգել է ԿԽՄԿ-ի ուղեկցությամբ Հայաստան տեղափոխվող 68-ամյա Վագիֆ Խաչատրյանին։ ԿԽՄԿ-ի պաշտպանության տակ գտնվող Խաչատրյանին առևանգել են Լաչինի միջանցքի անցակետից, նրան տեղափոխել են Բաքու ու կեղծ մեղադրանքներ առաջադրել։

Հայաստանի և Արցախի ղեկավարությունը ևս իրենց բազմաթիվ հայտարարություններում Ադրբեջանի գործողությունները մեկնաբանել են որպես Ադրբեջանի կողմից Լեռնային Ղարաբաղում էթնիկ զտումներ իրականացնելու քայլեր։
