Կանադայի արևմտյան Բրիտանական Կոլումբիա նահանգում անտառային հրդեհներն ավելի են սաստկացել շաբաթ օրը՝ կրկնապատկելով տարհանման հրամանի տակ գտնվող մարդկանց թիվը՝ նախորդ օրվա համեմատ հասնելով 35,000-ի, հաղորդում է Reuters-ը:

Ուրբաթ նահանգը արտակարգ դրություն էր հայտարարել՝ հրդեհի վտանգները վերացնելու համար իշխանությունների ժամանակավոր  լիազորություններ ստանալու համար, քանի որ անվերահսկելի հրդեհներն ընդգրկել են Բրիտանական Կոլումբիայի ներքին շրջանները՝ ոչնչացնելով անշարժ գույքի տասնյակ օբյեկտներ և մասամբ փակելով Խաղաղօվկիանոսյան ափի և արևմտյան Կանադայի մնացած մասի միջև հիմնական տարանցիկ երթուղու որոշ հատվածներ:  

«Ներկայիս իրավիճակը մռայլ է»,- շաբաթ  լրագրողներին է ասել նահանգի վարչապետ Դանիել Էբին՝ հայտնելով, որ մոտ 35,000 մարդ գտնվում է տարհանման հրամանի տակ, իսկ ևս 30,000-ը   տարհանման ծանուցում է ստացել:

Էբին տեղեկացրել է, որ նահանգը տարհանվածների և հրշեջների համար ապաստանի խիստ կարիք ունի և կարգադրել է արգելել ոչ էական ճանապարհորդությունները՝ ավելի շատ ժամանակավոր կացարաններ տրամադրելու համար:

Վարչապետ Ջասթին Թրյուդոն շաբաթ օրը  առանցքային նախարարների և բարձրաստիճան պաշտոնյաների խորհրդակցություն է կազմակերպել՝ անտառային հրդեհների հարցը քննարկելու համար: Միջադեպերի արձագանքման թիմը, որն այս շաբաթ հանդիպել է երկրորդ անգամ, համաձայնել է լրացուցիչ ռեսուրսներ տրամադրել ինչպես Բրիտանական Կոլումբիայի, այնպես էլ Հյուսիսարևմտյան տարածքներին:

Ուրբաթ Բրիտանական Կոլումբիայի հարավում բռնկված անվերահսկելի հրդեհը 24 ժամվա ընթացքում մեծացել է ավելի քան 100 անգամ և հարկադրել տարհանել անշարժ գույքի ավելի քան 2400 օբյեկտ: Հրդեհի օջախը եղել է  Կելոունայում՝ Վանկուվերից մոտ 300 կիլոմետր դեպի արևելք գտնվող քաղաքում, որի բնակչությունը կազմում է մոտ 150 հազար մարդ։

Ուրբաթ օրը հրդեհներն այնքան արագ են տարածվել, որ տարհանման հրաման ստացած մարդկանց թիվը մեկ ժամում 4500-ից հասել է 15000-ի, իսկ ևս 20000-ը տարհանման ծանուցում է ստացել: Ներկա դրությամբ, նահանգին բաժին է ընկնում Կանադայում գործող  1062  հրդեհների ավելի քան մեկ երրորդը:
