Սաուդյան Արաբիայի մայրաքաղաք Էր Ռիյադում անցկացվող ծանրամարտի աշխարհի առաջնությունում սեպտեմբերի 14-ին Հայաստանը կունենա 2  ներկայացուցիչ 102 կգ քաշային կարգում: Պայքարի մեջ կմտնեն աշխարհի բրոնզե մեդալակիր, Եվրոպայի կրկնակի չեմպիոն Սամվել Գասպարյանը եւ Եվրոպայի գործող չեմպիոն Գարիկ Կարապետյանը:

Այս քաշային կարգում մեդալի համար կպայքարի 10 ծանրորդ։ Սամվել Գասպարյանի  եւ Գարիկ Կարապետյանի նախնական հայտը երկամարտում 400 կգ է: Հայ ծանրորդներից 6 կգ-ով ավել հայտ է ներկայացրել Իրանի ներկայացուցիչ Ռեզա Դեհդարը:

2021 թվականի Եվրոպայի չեմպիոն, 2022 թվականի աշխարհի բրոնզե մեդալակիր Սամվել Գասպարյանը Երեւանում երկամարտի 395 կգ արդյունքով (175+220) երկրորդ անգամ հռչակվել է Եվրոպայի չեմպիոն: Անցած աշխարհի առաջնությունում 102 կգ քաշայինների պայքարում երկամարտի 389 կգ արդյունքով գյումրեցի ծանրորդը դարձել է բրոնզե մեդալակիր (175+214) :

Գարիկ Կարապետյանը Երեւանում անցկացված ԵԱ-ում 102 կգ քաշայինների պայքարում երիտասարդների եւ Եվրոպայի երկամարտի ռեկորդներով նվաճել է  չեմպիոնի տիտղոսը: Երկամարտում նա գրանցել է 392 կգ արդյունք (178+214):

102 կգ քաշային կարգի A խմբի պայքարը կմեկնարկի Երեւանի ժամանակով 20:00-ին:

Սեպտեմբերի 4-17-ը Սաուդյան Արաբիայի մայրաքաղաք Էր Ռիյադում անցկացվող ծանրամարտի աշխարհի առաջնությունում Հայաստանը մասնակցում է 14 ծանրորդով:

Փաշիկ Ալավերդյանի գլխավորած տղամարդկանց հավաքականի կազմում մրցահարթակ դուրս կգան նաեւ Վարազդատ Լալայանը եւ Սիմոն Մարտիրոսյանը (109+ կգ):

Արտաշես Ներսիսյանի գլխավորած կանանց հավաքականի կազմում հանդես կգան նաեւ Լիանա Գյուրջյանը (81 կգ),  Տաթեւ Հակոբյանը եւ Հռիփսիմե Խուրշուդյանը (87 կգ):

Հայաստանի հավաքականի առաջին եւ դեռեւս միակ մեդալը երկամարտում նվաճել է 67 կգ քաշային Գոռ Սահակյանը, որ երկամարտի 312 կգ արդյունքով դարձել է բրոնզե մեդալակիր (142 +170):
