Իրենք մեկնաբանում են ամեն ինչ այնպես, ինչպես իրենց ձեռք է տալիս: Այս մասին Պետրոս Ղազարյանի հետ զրույցում ասաց ՀՀ ԱԺ նախագահ Ալեն Սիմոնյանը՝ անդրադառնալով ՌԴ ԱԳՆ Սերգեյ Լավրովի իրեն ուղղված մեղադրանքներին, որ իբր Արցախը ՌԴ նախագահ Պուտինն է հանձնել Ադրբեջանին:

«Մեր գերները հեչ, որ մինչեւ հիմա չեն վերադարձել, նոյեմբերի 9-ի հայտարարությունը հեչ, ամեն ինչ արել ենք, բայց չի գործում: Պատերազմից հետո առնվազն երեք տարի ամեն ինչ արել ենք, չի աշխատում այդ մեխանիզմը, ամենայն հարգանքով, ես չեմ ուզում հակադարձեմ ՌԴ արտաքին գերատեսչության ղեկավարին, կամ այլ բան, ամեն ինչ գործնական, իրենք մեկնաբանում են ամեն ինչ այնպես, ինչպես իրենց ձեռք է տալիս: Մենք ինչքա՞ն պետք է սպասենք մինչեւ իրենց հարցը լուծվի, ամեն օր երեխա է զոհվում, մարդ է մեռնում, եւ արդյոք այն, ինչ որ արվում է մեզ հետ դա անկարողութուն է, եւ ոչ թե նաեւ համաձայնությունը: Ուկրաինա մտնելուց մեկ կամ 2 օր առաջ դաշնային պայմանագիր կնքնվեց Ադրբեջանի հետ ՌԴ-ի կողմից: Ադրբեջանցիները իրենց թույլ են տվել ամեն ինչ գրեթե, սկսած ռուս սպանելուց, վերջացրած Ուկրաինա օգնություն ուղարկելուց, ինչ եղավ այդ ժամանակ, պատպանական բանակը մտա՞վ ադրբեջանական մի գյուղ եւ ռուս խաղաղապահներն էլ արձանագրեցի՞ն այդ մասին »,-ասաց նա:

Սիմոնյանը նշեց, որ ադրբեջանական ագրեսիայի ժամանակ ՌԴ ԱԳՆ-ն կողմերին զսպվածության կոչ էր անում, սակայն Հայաստանը կողմ չէր, այդ իմաստով փորձում էին , ըստ նրա, ՀՀ-ին կողմ դարձնելեւ մտնել Հայաստանի տարածք:

Դիտարկմանը,, թե ՌԴ-ն զգուշացմանը, որ Արեւմուտք թեքվելու դեպքում դաս են տվել Արցախով, արդյոք մտավախություն չկա, որ հաջորդը Սյունիքն է եւ որն է իշխանություների հույսը, Սիմոնյանը ասաց. «Մեր հույսը մեզ վրա է, գործընկերների վրա է՝ Իրանի, Եվրամիության, ԱՄՆ-ի, որոնք ի տարբերություն մեր հիմնական դաշնակցի սատարում են մեզ»:
