«Մայր Հայաստան» դաշինքի հայտարարությունը՝ Երևանի քաղաքապետի նշանակման կապակցությամբ
 
Հարգելի՛ հայրենակիցներ,
 
«Մայր Հայաստան» դաշինքը Երևանի ավագանու ընտրությունը դիտարկել է որպես Հայաստանում ամբողջական իշխանափոխության հնարավորություն և մեկնարկային քայլ: Այսինքն՝ մենք ոչ թե զուտ քաղաքապետի պաշտոնի հարց ենք դրել, այլ ընտրությունները համարել ենք միջոց Հայաստանի ներքին ու արտաքին քաղաքականությունը փոխելու համար:
 
Մենք համոզված ենք, որ մեր երկրի անվտանգության, անկախության, տարածքային ամբողջականության ապահովման թիվ մեկ խնդիրը Նիկոլ Փաշինյանին իշխանությունից հեռացնելն է և նոր ազգային իշխանություն ձևավորելը:
 
Երևանի ավագանու ընտրության արդյունքները ցույց տվեցին, որ «Քաղաքացիական պայմանագիրը» փոքրամասնություն է և չունի մայրաքաղաքում իշխանություն ձևավորելու մանդատ:
 
Եվս մեկ անգամ շնորհակալություն հայտնելով «Մայր Հայաստանին» քվե տված քաղաքացիներին՝ մենք հիմք ենք ընդունում նաև այն ընտրողների կամքը, որոնք ոչ իշխանական այլ ուժերին քվե տալով՝ կողմ են արտահայտվել իշխանափոխությանը:
 
Ելնելով վերը նշվածից՝ վերահաստատում ենք նախկինում հնչեցրած մեր դիրքորոշումը՝ «Քաղաքացիական պայմանագրին» Երևանում իշխանազրկման համար պատրաստ ենք աջակցել քաղաքապետի այն թեկնածուին, որը կհայտարարի, որ կիսում է Հայաստանում ամբողջական իշխանափոխություն իրականացնելու մեր դիրքորոշումը:
 
«Ազգային առաջընթաց» կուսակցությունը որպես քաղաքապետի թեկնածու է առաջադրել Հայկ Մարությանին, ով հրապարակավ ընդունել է «Մայր Հայաստանի» դիրքորոշումն ամբողջական իշխանափոխության անհրաժեշտության մասին:
 
Եթե ոչ իշխանական դաշտում հաստատվի կոնսենսուս, ապա «Մայր Հայաստան» դաշինքն իր մանդատներով կնպաստի Երևանում «Քաղաքացիական պայմանագրի» իշխանազրկման գործընթացին և կօգնի ոչ իշխանական դաշտից նոր քաղաքապետի նշանակմանը՝ իր քվեն տալով «Ազգային առաջընթացի» ներկայացրած քաղաքապետի թեկնածուին՝ Հայկ Մարությանին:
