Զինված խմբերում երեխաներին հավաքագրելը լուրջ հանցագործություն է և արգելված է միջազգային իրավունքով։ Այնուամենայնիվ, զենքը ձեռքին դեռահասները սովորական երևույթ են Մերձավոր Արևելքում ռազմական հակամարտությունների ժամանակ: Երիտասարդ ջիհադիստներին հանդիպել են ԴԱԻՇ-ի, Թալիբանի և «Մուսուլման եղբայրների» շարքերում : Իսրայելի վրա հարձակում իրականացրած պաղեստինյան «Համաս» կազմակերպությունն ունի նաև անչափահաս մարտիկներից բաղկացած զորամասեր։ Ե՞րբ և ինչու են իսլամական շարժումը ստեղծել մանկական ռազմական ճամբարներ և ինչ են սովորեցնում Գազայի հատվածի երիտասարդ բնակիչներին:

ՀԱՄԱՍ-ի դաշտային ճամբարներում սովորելու համար պաղեստինցի երեխաների հավաքագրման առաջին զեկույցները սկսեցին հայտնվել 2000-ականների սկզբին:

Այս ամենի աճին նպաստեց 2005 թվականին անկլավից Իսրայելի պաշտպանության ուժերի (IDF) ստորաբաժանումների դուրսբերումը: Պաղեստինի օրենսդրական խորհրդի ընտրություններում ՀԱՄԱՍ-ի հաղթանակից անմիջապես հետո կուսակցությունը սկսեց ստեղծել օրինական անվտանգության ուժեր:

Համակարգային ուղու վրա դրվեց երեխաների զինվորական պատրաստությունը, որոնց բաժինը կազմում էր շրջանի բոլոր բնակիչների մոտ 40 տոկոսը (մոտ 800 հազար մարդ):

Երիտասարդ ջիհադիստների վերապատրաստման ծրագիրը տարբերվում է ճամբարից  և նախատեսված է երկու-երեք ամսվա համար: Դրա բաղադրիչներից երկուսը միշտ նույնն են մնում՝ ռազմական պատրաստությունը և աստվածաբանական ուսումնասիրությունները:

Մասնավորապես, ինչպես ասում են «աշակերտների» և իրենք՝ 10-ից 17 տարեկան «աշակերտների» ծնողները, բացի սպորտից և ծովափնյա խաղերից, պաղեստինցի հրահանգիչները սովորեցնում են իրենց ուսանողներին, թե ինչպես գրոհել անցակետերն ու ուժեղ կետերը. փոքր զենքերի և նռնակների, ինչպես նաև պատանդների «ճիշտ» հետ վարվելու և պարտիզանական հիմնական մարտավարության հետ:

«Այս ճամբարները կոչված են պատրաստելու սերունդ, որը կրում է Ղուրան և հրացան: Ճամբարները ցույց են տալիս, որ պաղեստինցիները աջակցում են դիմադրությանը և Պաղեստինի ազատագրման նախագծին։ Նպատակն է ազատագրել Պաղեստինը և Ալ-Աքսա մզկիթը [Երուսաղեմում]», - բացատրել է ՀԱՄԱՍ-ի բարձրաստիճան պաշտոնյա Խալիլ ալ Հայյան 2016թ.-ին:
