Դիմակահանդես` երեսպաշտության այն հրապարակում, ուր ժամանակին սեր էր ու համերաշխություն: Հիմա սերը զտել են հրապարակից, և համերաշխության դրոշից մնացել է դրոշաձողը՝ որպես նախընտրական մուրճի կեղտոտ մի պոչ: Եվ արդեն որերորդ անգամ մենք վերադառնում ենք արատավոր շրջանի այն ելակետին, որտեղից բոլոր սրիկայությունների արդարացումները հանգում են երեխա պահելու փաստարկին, մեկնաբանելով՝ «տոն է պետք երեխաներին»:

Տոնեք, ի սեր Աստծո: Տոնեք ձեր տներում, բայց մի մոռացեք, որ կան երեխաներ, որոնց հրավառության այդ ձայները հիշեցնում են ընդամենը երեք ամիս առաջ տեղի ունեցած մի ուրիշ պայթյունի մասին: Մեծ պայթյուն, որ ոչ թե կյանք ծնեց, այլ մահեր, որ կլանեց այդ երեխաների բաժին Ձմեռպապիներին ու ձնեմարդուկներին, կլանեց այն տունը, որի ծխնելույզով պիտի իջներ երազանքներ կատարող Ձմեռ Պապը, կլանեց հրաշքների հանդեպ հավատն առհասարակ:
