Էկվադորյան մաֆիան, ի պատասխան նախագահի կողմից հայտարարված արտակարգ դրության, անկարգություններ ու բախումներ է կազմակերպել երկրով մեկ։ Հանցախմբերից մեկի զինված անդամները ուղիղ եթերում ներխուժել են տաղավար և պատանդ վերցրել TC Televisión հեռուստաալիքի աշխատակիցներին, գրում է BBC-ն:

Նրանք աշխատողներին հրամայել են պառկել հատակին. կադրից դուրս կրակոցներ ու ճիչեր են լսվել։ Հեռարձակումը շուտով ընդհատվել է։ Ավելի ուշ զինված անձինք լքել են հեռուստաալիքի շենքը, իսկ որոշ ժամանակ անց ոստիկանությունը հայտարարել է, որ բոլորին ձերբակալել են։



Երկրի նորընտիր նախագահ Դանիել Նոբոան 22 մաֆիոզ խմբավորումներն անվանել է ահաբեկչական կազմակերպություններ և ասել, որ երկիրը գտնվում է ներքին զինված հակամարտության մեջ:

Աղբյուրը մանրամասնում է, որ ամեն ինչ սկսվել է չափազանց վտանգավոր հանցագործի՝ «Լոս Չոներոս» ազդեցիկ հանցախմբի 44-ամյա ղեկավար Խոսե Ադոլֆո Մասիասի՝ բանտից փախուստից հետո: Նախագահ Նոբոան երկրում արտակարգ դրություն և պարետային ժամ է հայտարարել։ 

Հանցախմբերի անդամներն ի պատասխան զինված դուրս են եկել փողոցներ, հրկիզել են մեքենաներ, լսվել են պայթյուններ: Ոստիկանությունը հայտնել է, որ բախումների հետևանքով առնվազն 10 մարդ է զոհվել։

Հարձակումներ ոստիկանների և զինվորականների վրա

Առնվազն յոթ ոստիկան պատանդ են վերցվել երկուշաբթի և երեքշաբթի երկրի տարբեր վայրերում, ներառյալ մայրաքաղաք Կիտոյում:

Նախագահ Նոբոան ասել է, որ բանտային անկարգությունները մաֆիայի արձագանքն են քրեակատարողական հիմնարկների նկատմամբ վերահսկողությունը վերականգնելու իր փորձերին:
