Սահմանազատման և սահմանագծման հանձնաժողովների՝ երեկ Իջևան-Ղազախ հատվածում կայացած նիստը մի քանի ժամ է տևել, ընդ որում մինչ նիստն ընդանում էր փակ ռեժիմով, ադրբեջանական կողմը շարունակում էր ապատեղեկատվությունների տարածումը, իսկ Մհեր Գրիգորյանի գրասենյակն էլ ստիպված է լինում անընդհատ հերքել տարածվող բոլոր կեղծ տեղեկությունները։

Դեռևս հունվարի սկզբին իր հարցազրույցում Իլհամ Ալիևը հայտարարել էր, թե ամսվա վերջին կայանալիք հանձնաժողովի 6-րդ նիստում քննարկելու են Ղազախ-Թովուզ հատվածի սահմանազատման հարցը։ Հայկական կողմն արձագանքել էր, թե նախնական պայմանավորվածությամբ հանդիպմանը սահմանելու են փաստաթղթերի տեսակները, նույնականացվելու են քարտեզները։ Երեկ էլ ադրբեջանական լրատվամիջոցները հենց հանդիպման ամենաթեժ պահին հայտարարել էին, թե հայկական կողմն Ադրբեջանին է հանձնելու 3 շրջանների ականապատման քարտեզներ։ Րոպեների ընթացքում Մհեր Գրիգորյանի գրասենյակը հերքեց տարածված տեղեկությունը։ Ի վերջո հանդիպումն ավարտվեց առանց կողմերի պաշտոնական հաղորդագրության։

Սովորաբար, արդեն 6-րդ նիստն է, որ հայկական և ադրբեջանական բանակցային խմբերը պաշտոնական մանրամասներ չեն հայտնում, ընդամենը բավարարվում են մեկ-երկու տողով հանդիպման մասին հիշատակելով։ Ավանդաբար ադրբեջանական կողմը հետո սկսում է արտահոսքերի մակարդակով տարբեր տեղեկություններ տարածել, իսկ Հայաստանից անգամ հերքումներ չեն ստացվում՝ կրկին հանրությանը դնելով վատ վիճակի մեջ։

Գործող իշխանությունները սովորել են այլևս հանրության հետ հարաբերվել գաղտնիության ռեժիմով, իսկ ադրբեջանական «ապատեղեկատվություններից» շատերը վերջում հաստատվում են և նոր աղետ դառնում հայ ժողովրդի գլխին։
