ԱՄՆ զինուժը փետրվարի 2-ին ավիահարվածներ է հասցրել Իրաքում և Սիրիայում ավելի քան 85 թիրախների, որոնք կապված են Իրանի հեղափոխության պահապանների կորպուսի և նրան աջակցող զինյալների հետ՝ ի պատասխան անցյալ շաբաթվա վերջին Հորդանանում տեղի ունեցած հարձակման, որի հետևանքով ԱՄՆ 3 զինծառայող է զոհվել, հայտնում է Reuters-ը:

Նշվում է, որ թեև ԱՄՆ-ի հարվածները չեն թիրախավորել Իրանում գտնվող օբյեկտները, սակայն դրանք ազդարարում են Մերձավոր Արևելքում հակամարտության հետագա սրումը՝ Իսրայելի՝ Գազայում պաղեստինյան ՀԱՄԱՍ-ի զինյալների հետ ավելի քան երեք ամիս տևած պատերազմի պատճառով:

ԱՄՆ զինվորականները հայտարարությամբ ասել են, որ հարվածել են թիրախներին՝ այդ թվում հրամանատարության և կառավարման կենտրոններին, հրթիռներին և անօդաչու թռչող սարքերին, ինչպես նաև լոգիստիկ և զինամթերքի մատակարարման շղթայի օբյեկտներին:

Սիրիայի պաշտպանության նախարարությունն իր հերթին ներկայացրել է ամերիկյան ավիահարվածների հետևանքները՝ հայտնելով խաղաղ բնակիչների ու զինծառայողների շրջանում մեծաթիվ զոհերի ու զգալի վնասների մասին։

«Ամերիկյան օկուպացիոն ուժերն այսօր բացահայտ օդային ագրեսիա են իրականացրել մի շարք դիրքերի և քաղաքների դեմ Սիրիայի արևելքում և Սիրիա-Իրաք սահմանների մոտ, ինչի հետևանքով մի շարք խաղաղ բնակիչներ և զինվորականներ են զոհվել, կան վիրավորներ, ինչպես նաև մեծ վնաս է հասցվել պետական և մասնավոր գույքին», - գերատեսչության տարածած հաղորդագրությունն է մեջբերում ՌԻԱ Նովոստին։

Ինչպես ընդգծել են ռազմական գերատեսչությունում, այդ հարվածները «ոչ մի արդարացում չունեն և սիրիական բանակի և նրա դաշնակիցների՝ ահաբեկչության դեմ պայքարում ունեցած հնարավորությունները թուլացնելու փորձ են հանդիսանում»։
