«Համահայկական ճակատը» արդեն ապրիլի 5-ից սկսած գործող իշխանությունների դեմ պայքարը մղելու է ավելի ինստիտուցիոնալ հիմունքներով։ Այդ օրը երեկոյան «Արմենիա Մարիոթ» հյուրանոցում «Համահայկական ճակատ» կուսակցության հիմնադիր համագումարն է կայանալու, նախաձեռնող խմբի ղեկավար Հովհաննես Շահինյանի գլխավորությամբ։

«Համահայկական ճակատ» շարժման առաջնորդ, պաշտպանության նախկին նախարար Արշակ Կարապետյանը միջոցառմանը կներկայացնի իր մոտեցումներն ու տեսակետները կուսակցության հետագա գործունեության, ինչպես նաև՝ գործող իշխանությունների դեմ ավելի կազմակերպված պայքար մղելու անհրաժեշտության մասին։

Միևնույն ժամանակ, ինչպես ավելի վաղ նշել էր Արշակ Կարապետյանը, «Համահայկական ճակատ» շարժումը ամբողջությամբ չի տարածվելու կուսակցության մեջ, ընդհակառակը թե՛ շարժումը և թե՛ կուսակցությունը գործելու են որպես առանձին քաղաքական միավորներ։

Հայտարարելով կուսակցություն ստեղծելու մտադրության մասին՝ պաշտպանության նախկին նախարարն ի սկզբանե հայտարարել էր, թե տարբեր ուժերի, վերլուծաբանների հետ շփումներում եկել է այն եզրակացության, որ անհրաժեշտ է ստեղծել «Համահայկական ճակատ» կուսակցություն՝ քաղաքական պայքարն ավելի արդյունավետ տանելու նպատակով, միաժամանակ, շարժումը, որը բազմաթիվ կուսակցություններ, հասարակական կազմակերպություններ և հանրային հայտնի դեմքեր է ներառում, իր գործունեությունը չի դադարեցնելու, ընդհակառակը, մեկը մյուսին փոխլրացնելով ավելի ակտիվ աշխատանք են տանելու։

Հիշեցնենք, որ բազմաթիվ քաղաքական ուժեր, այդ թվում «Հայոց Արծիվներ. Միասնական Հայաստան» կուսակցությունը, միացել էին «Համահայկական ճակատ» շարժմանը, նրանք իրենց կազմակերպչական կառույցը պահպանելու են։

Ինչպես ավելի վաղ նշել էր պաշտպանության նախկին նախարարը գործող իշխանությունների դեմ արդյունավետ պայքար մղելու համար անհրաժեշտ է հանրության լայն շերտերի համախմբումը և միասնական գաղափարների մշակումը, միայն այդ կերպ հնարավոր կլինի իսկապես պայքար տանել գործող իշխանությունների դեմ։
