ՌԴ նախագահ Վլադիմիր Պուտինը շատ զարմացած էր, որ Փաշինյանը Պրահայում Լեռնային Ղարաբաղը ճանաչել է Ադրբեջանի մաս. այս մասին iz.ru-ին տված հարցազրույցում ասել է ՌԴ ԱԳՆ ղեկավար Սերգեյ Լավրովը:

«Բայց երբ 2022-ին Պրահայում, այսպես կոչված, Եվրոպական քաղաքական համայնքի գագաթնաժողովում, որը Մակրոնի մտածածն էր, նրանք փաստաթուղթ ստորագրեցին Ադրբեջանի նախագահ Իլհամ Ալիևի հետ՝ Եվրոպական խորհրդի նախագահ Շառլ Միշելի ներկայությամբ, որ Ղարաբաղն Ադրբեջան է, մեզ ոչ ոք այդ մասին տեղյակ չէր պահել: Այնուհետ Պուտինը հաջորդ հանդիպման ժամանակ Փաշինյանին ասել էր. «Մենք զարմացած էինք, որ դուք այդպես որոշեցիք»։ Որևէ բացատրություն չեղավ, քանի որ Փաշինյանը մեզ միշտ խնդրում էր չմոռանալ, որ վերջին երեք տարիների ջանքերին զուգահեռ պետք է ինչ-որ կերպ լուծել ԼՂ կարգավիճակի հարցը, և մենք դա անում էինք», - նշել է Լավրովը։

Ըստ ՌԴ ԱԳ նախարարի՝ երբ Փաշինյանը ստորագրեց, որ այս տարածքը Ադրբեջանի կազմում է, կարգավիճակի հարցը վերացավ։

«Երբ մարդիկ սկսեցին լքել Ղարաբաղը, Նիկոլ Փաշինյանը Վլադիմիր Պուտինին հարցրեց. «Վլադիմիր Վլադիմիրովիչ, ինչո՞ւ ղարաբաղցիներին թողեցիք ճակատագրի քմահաճույքին»։ Կներեք, ի սեր Աստծո, այդ դուք եք որոշել, որ նրանք քաղաքացի չեն կամ հավակնում են Ադրբեջանի ինչ-որ քաղաքացիության», - հավելել է Լավրովը։
