Գեղարքունիքի մարզում 2024 թվականին նախորդ տարվա համեմատ գրանցվել է խոշոր եղջերավորների գլխաքանակի անկում, մանր եղջերավորների աճ։  

Ինչպես տեղեկացնում են ՀՀ ազգային վիճակագրական ծառայության Գեղարքունիքի մարզային գործակալությունից, 2024 թվականի հունվարին Գեղարքունիքի մարզում հաշվառվել է 75 հազար 829 գլուխ խոշոր եղջերավոր անասուն՝ նախորդ տարվա նույն ժամանակահատվածում հաշվառված 81 հազար 536 գլխի դիմաց, ինչը նշանակում է, որ անասնապահության այս ճյուղում անկում է գրանցվել 5 հազար 707 գլխով։ 5 հազար 985 գլխի չափով էլ պակասել են կովերը։

Դրան հակառակ, 2 հազար 809 գլխով ավելացել է մանր եղջերավորների քանակը։ Եթե 2023 թվականի հունվարին մարզում հաշվառվել է 99 հազար 108 գլուխ մանր եղջերավոր անասուն, ապա 2024 թվականի հունվարին արդեն այն հասել է 101 հազար 917-ի։ 1561-ով էլ ավելացել է մանր եղջերավորների մայրական կազմը։

Նախորդ տարվա համեմատ խոզերի գլխաքանակն  ավելացել  761-ով։ Այժմ մարզի տնտեսություններում պահվող խոզերի գլխաքանակը 11 հազար 259 է՝ նախորդ տարվա հունվարի 10 հազար 498-ի դիմաց։ 2022 թվականին հաշվառված 1551 ձիերի քանակն այս տարի նվազել է 5-ով։ Էականորեն նվազել է նաև թռչունների և մեղվաընտանիքների թիվը։

Այսպես՝ 2023 թվականին հաշվառված 242 հազար 081 թև թռչունների դիմաց 2024 թվականին հաշվառվել է 211 հազար 256 թև, իսկ 2023 թվականին հաշվառված 37 հազար 848 մեղվաընտանիքի դիմաց այս հունվարին հաշվառվել է 35 հազար 464 մեղվաընտանիք։  Այսպիսով՝ թռչունների քանակը պակասել է 30 հազար 825 թևով, մեղվաընտանիքները՝ 2 հազար 384 փեթակով։
