Այսօր ընդդիմադիր 2 խմբակցությունները ողջ կազմով ներկայացնելու են երաշխավորություն՝ Ա. Աշոտյանի կալանքը վերացնելու համար։ Սա երկրում կարող է նոր, առողջ քաղաքական մթնոլորտ ստեղծել։ Այս մասին իր ֆեյսբուքյան էջում գրել է «Այլընտրանքային նախագծեր» խմբի անդամ Վահե Հովհաննիսյանը․

«Նախորդ օրվանից Ռուբեն Վարդանյանի՝ Նոբելյան մրցանակի համար արդար պայքարը սկսվում է այսօր Երևանում՝ Աշոտյանի ազատ արձակման պրոցեսով։ Բաքվի բանտերից բոլոր հայերի ազատ արձակումը սկսվում է Երևանում՝ ՄԵԿ հոգու հրահանգով կալանավորվածների ազատ արձակմամբ։ Սա հստակ բանաձև է, որը պետք է հասկանալ։ Եթե մենք համառ ու ինտենսիվ չպայքարենք Երևանի բանտերում պահվող քաղաքական բանտարկյալների համար, չենք կարողանալու պայքարել Բաքվում մեր արժանապատվության կալանավորների համար։

Եթե դատավորը հարգի 2 ընդդիմադիր խմբակցությունների միասնական երաշխավորագիրը, ապա երկրում նոր մթնոլորտ է ստեղծվելու. կարձանագրվի հարգանք՝ քաղաքական միավորի, քաղաքական քայլի հանդեպ։ Սա երկրի համար միանշանակ օգտակար է։

Եթե դատավորն արհամարհի երաշխավորությունը, ապա դա ուղիղ կոչ է բոլորիս՝ կրկնապատկել-եռապատկելու պայքարը բանտերում գտնվող մեր ընկերների համար, ընդ որում՝ թե´ Երևանի, թե´ Բաքվի բանտերում։

Մենք պետք է ընդունենք նոր խաղի կանոն, որը նաև բարոյականության ճգնաժամային նորմ է համատեղ պայքարի. յուրաքանչյուր ընկերոջ, յուրաքանչյուր թիմակցի համար պետք է համառ պայքարել։ Հնարավոր չէ հաջող պայքար, եթե քո կողքինին կտանեն բանտ, իսկ դու անհոգ շարունակես քո կյանքը։

Իմ խորին համոզմամբ՝ պետք է ուժեղացնել պայքարը բանտերում գտնվող մեր ընկերների համար։ Բուն պայքարը կմաքրի, կզուլալի մթնոլորտը։ Գոնե իրար հանդեպ ազնիվ կլինենք։ Ա. Աշոտյանը, Վ. Սաղաթելյանը, Ն. Սամսոնյանը, Ն. Մալյանը, Մ. Ասլանյանը պետք է ազատ արձակվեն։ Այնպես, ինչպես Բաքվի բանտերում գտնվող հայերը։ Սրանք փոխկապակցված պրոցեսներ են։ Սկսենք մեր բանտերից ու ավելի վստահ կկարողանանք գործել Բաքվի բանտերում գտնվողների համար»։
