ДИАЛОГ выступила с инициативой издания в Москве академического многотомника «История армянского народа» на русском языке. Об этом председатель организации ДИАЛОГ Юрий Навоян заявил на состоявшейся в Национальной академии наук Республики Армения встрече, посвященной углублению сотрудничества между научным потенциалом Армении и диаспорой.

Он сообщил, что ранее обсудил эту инициативу с руководством Института истории НАН, а затем обратился с официальным письмом к президенту Академии. Данное письмо председатель Организации ДИАЛОГ передал президенту НАН Армении, академику Ашоту Сагяну во время встречи с ним 15 июля. Считается, что академическая история является одной из визитных карточек каждого народа и государства, поскольку призвана представлять единую, научно выверенную историческую летопись любой страны.

Юрий Навоян убежден, что русское издание академического многотомника «История армянского народа» в Москве представит Армению и её многовековую историю широкой международной аудитории, а также придаст импульс научным исследованиям в области арменоведения, будет иметь учебное и историко-просветительское значение, поспособствует созданию исследовательских работ, направленных на нейтрализацию исторических фальсификаций. Реализация инициативы организации ДИАЛОГ также окажет серьезную поддержку Институту истории Национальной академии наук Республики Армения, которому поручены создание и издание армянской и русской версий многотомника «История армянского народа». На сегодняшний день подготовлены и опубликованы три тома армянской версии академического многотомника.

Следует отметить, что организация ДИАЛОГ реализует программу «Книжная дипломатия», включающую в себя: создание и издание двуязычного трехтомника «Российская Федерация и Республика Армения: 30 лет союзнического взаимодействия»; Книжную серию ДИАЛОГ; учреждение и деятельность Российско-Армянского клуба в «Библио-Глобусе»; патронат над журналом «Литературная Армения»; предстоящее издание 25-томного сборника произведений известного армянского советского композитора Арно Бабаджаняна.
