Վահե Հովհաննիսյանը ֆեյսբուքյան իր էջում գրել է.
 
Բայդենի հեռացումով աշխարհում շատ բան է փոխվելու՝ շատ պետությունների, ժողովուրդների և հակամարտությունների ընթացքներ։ Նույնիսկ եթե հաղթի դեմոկրատ Ք. Հարիսը։ Թրամփի հաղթանակի դեպքում փոփոխությունները լինելու են ավելի սրընթաց։
Ուկրաինան սա արագ հասկացավ, և Կիևի հռետորաբանությունն օրերի ընթաքցում անճանաչելիորեն փոխվեց։ Կիևը հիմա ավելի է հակված բանակցությունների ու պատերազմի արագ դադարեցմանը։ Սա ճկուն քաղաքականություն է, ինչը միանշանակ ճիշտ է։ Այլ հարց է, որ դա պետք էր հասկանալ շատ ավելի վաղ` նախքան անմեղսունակ քաղաքականության հետևանքով երկիրն ավերելը։
Նույն խնդրի առաջ կանգնած ենք մենք՝ Հայաստանն ու Ադրբեջանը։ Մինչ ոմն հեծանվորդ փչացրեց Երևանի հարաբերությունները Մոսկվայի հետ և տեղավորվեց Արևմուտքի նժարում, Ադրբեջանն ընդունեց արևմտյան միջնորդությունը, բայց այդ ընթացքում էապես բարելավեց իր հարաբերությունները Ռուսաստանի և Չինաստանի հետ, մեղմեց լարվածությունն Իրանի հետ։
Մինչ հայ հանրությունն աշխարհի ու քաղաքականության մասին իր գավառական պատկերացումներն էր խորացնում՝ իշխանութունների և Հ1-երի օգնությամբ գոռալով «սաղ ռուսներն են մեղավոր», հակառակորդն իր շահերի բալանսավորումը հասցրեց կատարել առավելագույն արդյունավետությամբ։
ԱՄՆ փոփոխվող վարչակարգի և միջնորդների անհատական կազմի փոփոխման պայմաններում, Հայաստանը պետք է լինի ճկուն, եթե կուզեք՝ առանց ամոթի զգացման ճկուն։ Հնարավո՞ր է դա անել այսօր գործող բանակցողի և գործող կառավարության պայմաններում։ Գուցե ինչ-որ մասով հնարավոր է, սակայն` դժվար պատկերացնելի, եթե հաշվի առնենք այսօրվա իշխանությունների անկանխատեսելիությունն ու հնարավոր կուլիսային պայմանավորվածությունները։
Ճիշտ պահին նոր բանակցողի և նոր կառավարության ի հայտ գալը կարող էր ուղղակիորեն հնարավորությունների նոր էջ բացել Հայաստանի և անգամ Արցախի համար։ Շատ պետություններ են իրենց պատմության մեջ արել նման քայլեր և շահել պատմական կտրվածքում (ներառյալ` մեր բոլոր 4 հարևանները)։
Կա կարծիք, որ ճիշտ կլիներ, որ դա արվեր պալատական պրոցեսների արդյունքում։ Գուցե ճիշտ է, բայց պալատական պրոցեսների համար նախ և առաջ պալատ է պետք ունենալ։ Մեզ մոտ այն վերածվել է պատահականությունների գավառական կայարանի։
