US Open-ում կայացավ քառորդ եզրափակիչ երկրորդ հանդիպումը, որում աշխարհի հինգերորդ ռակետ, ռուս Դանիիլ Մեդվեդևը հանդիպեց Իտալիայի ներկայացուցիչ, ATP-ի վարկանիշային առաջատար Յանիկ Սիների հետ։ Հանդիպումն ավարտվել է Սիների հաղթանակով չորս սեթում՝ 6:2, 1:6, 6:1, 6:4:

Կանանց մենախաղում լեհ թենիսիստուհի Իգա Սվիատեկը չի կարողացել դուրս գալ US Open-ի կիսաեզրափակիչ։ Քառորդ եզրափակչում նա 2։6, 4։6 հաշվով զիջեց ամերիկուհի Ջեսիկա Պեգուլային։
