«Քաղաքացիական պայմանագիր» կուսակցությունը երեկ երեկոյան վարչության նիստ պիտի գումարեր, հայտարարեր արդարադատության նոր նախարարի անունը։ Բայց վարչության անդամներին մի քանի ժամ ՔՊ կենտրոնական գրասենյակում պահելուց հետո հայտարարել են, թե Փաշինյանն ուշ է վայրէջք կատարել «Զվարթնոցում», գնացել է տուն՝ հանգստանալու. կհավաքվեն հաջորդ օրը։

ՔՊ-ականները Գրիգոր Մինասյանի պաշտոնանկությունից հետո ռազմավարական որոշում են կայացրել նախարար նշանակել միայն կուսակցության անդամի ու կրակն են ընկել։ Իրավաբանության հետ հեռավոր առնչություններ ունեցող մի քանի թեկնածուներ, այդ թվում՝ ԱԺ պետաիրավական հարցերի հանձնաժողովի նախագահ Վլադիմիր Վարդանյանը, պատգամավորներ Սիսակ Գաբրիելյանը, Հերիքնազ Տիգրանյանն ու այլոք հրաժարվել են նախարար դառնալ, և այժմ ՔՊ-ն միայն երկու թեկնածու ունի՝ վարչության անդամ Արփի Դավոյանն ու պատգամավոր Արուսյակ Ջուլհակյանը։

ՔՊ մեր աղբյուրի փոխանցմամբ, վարչությունում հակված են Արփի Դավոյանի թեկնածությանը, թեպետ իրար մեջ խոսում են, որ Նիկոլ Փաշինյանը կարող է անակնկալ մատուցել՝ վերջին պահին այլ թեկնածուի անուն դեմ տալով։ Այդպես մի քանի անգամ արդեն եղել է։ Նույնիսկ ՀՀ նախագահ ընտրելիս, երբ տարբեր տխրահռչակ ՔՊ-ականների անուններ քննարկելուց հետո Փաշինյանը հանկարծակի առաջարկել էր Վահագն Խաչատուրյանի անունն ու պարտադրել կողմ քվեարկել նրան։
