Նիկոլ Փաշինյանը տիկնոջ` Աննա Հակոբյանի հետ Փարիզում ներկա է գտնվել Աստվածամոր տաճարի վերաբացման արարողությանը, շփումներ ունեցել Ֆրանսիայի նախագահ Էմանուել Մակրոնի, ԱՄՆ ընտրված նախագահ Դոնալդ Թրամփի, ամերիկացի միլիարդատեր Իլոն Մասկի և այլոց հետ:

ՀՀ կառավարության և անձամբ Փաշինյանի կողմից հրապարակած տեղեկություններից կարելի է տպավորություն ստանալ, թե լուրջ հանդիպումներ են եղել, կարևոր հարցեր են քննարկել, մինչդեռ իրականում Փաշինյանը Մակրոնի միջնորդությամբ հասցրել է մի քանի լուսանկար անել, լավագույն դեպքում էլ՝ ոտքի վրա մեկ-երկու բառ փոխանակել տարբեր գործիչների հետ։

Իհարկե, կարևոր է, որ ՀՀ գործող իշխանությանը հրավիրել են, ընդունել, բայց դրանից մեծ պատմություն սարքելու՝ գործող իշխանությունների մղումներն առավել քան անհեթեթ են թվում։ Թրամփն էլ, Մասկն էլ, այլ գործիչներ էլ օրական այդպիսի տասնյակ հանդիպումներ են ունենում, ձեռք մեկնում։ Իսկ ԱՄՆ-ի հետ հարաբերությունների խորացումը ոչ թե տաճարի մի անկյունում ձեռքսեղմման, այլ տևական բանակցությունների, շահերի համադրման, աշխարհի հզորներին ինչ-որ բան առաջարկելու, փաստարկելու աշխատանք են։ Եվ այդ աշխատանքը Փաշինյանի կառավարությունը վեց տարի է՝ ձախողում է։

Առնվազն ԱՄՆ մասով գործող իշխանությունները 44-օրյա պատերազմից հետո աշխատանք տարել են հիմնականում ԱՄՆ դեմոկրտական կուսակցության հետ հանրապետականների ուղղությունը բաց թողնելով, և այժմ ստիպված են ինտենսիվացնել շփումները։
