Մոսկվայում երեկ կայացել է ԵԱՏՄ միջկառավարական խորհրդի նիստը, որը վարել է ԵԱՏՄ գործող նախագահ Նիկոլ Փաշինյանը։ Վերջինս կրկին առաջ է մղել իր «Խաղաղության խաչմերուկ» ձախողված ծրագիրը, թեև Մոսկվան բազմիցս հանդես է եկել այդ նախագծի դեմ։

Ուշագրավ է, որ ՌԴ նախագահ Վլադիմիր Պուտինը չի հանդիպել Փաշինյանին։ Կրեմլի խոսնակ Դմիտրի Պեսկովը հայտարարել է, թե ԵԱՏՄ միջկառավարական նիստի շրջանակներում Մոսկվայում գտնվող Նիկոլ Փաշինյանի և Ռուսաստանի նախագահ Վլադիմիր Պուտինի միջև երկկողմ հանդիպում նախատեսված չէ։ Պեսկովը նշել է, որ Հայաստանի ղեկավարին կսպասեն դեկտեմբերի 25-26-ը Սանկտ Պետերբուրգում նախատեսված ԱՊՀ ոչ պաշտոնական գագաթնաժողովին։

Սովորաբար նման նիստերը Մոսկվայում անցկացնելու պարագայում ՌԴ նախագահն առանձին հանդիպումներ ունենում է Փաշինյանի և այլ երկրների ներկայացուցիչների հետ։ Մեր աղբյուրների փոխանցմամբ, այս անգամ ՌԴ նախագահը պարզապես հրաժարվել է հանդիպել, ընդ որում, հայկական կողմին այդ մասին իրազեկել են վերջին պահին, երբ Փաշինյանն արդեն Մոսկվայում էր։

Դեկտեմբերի 25-ին նախատեսված է նաև ԵԱՏՄ գագաթնաժողովը՝ պետությունների ղեկավարների մակարդակով։ Այս միջոցառումը որոշվել է անցկացնել ոչ թե կառույցը նախագահող երկրի մայրաքաղաք Երևանում, այլ Սանկտ Պետերբուրգում։ Ավելի վաղ վարչապետ Փաշինյանը խորհրդարանում պարզաբանել էր, թե անձամբ ինքն է նման որոշում կայացրել։ «ԵԱՏՄ բարձրագույն տնտեսական խորհրդի ոչ բոլոր անդամներն են ցանկալի Հայաստանի համար», - հայտարարել էր վարչապետը, սակայն չէր հստակեցրել, թե ԵԱՏՄ որ անդամին նկատի ունի՝ թերևս ակնարկելով Բելառուսին։
