Ադրբեջանական ինքնաթիռի կործանումը Ղազախստանի տարածքում սպառնում է սրել ռուս-ադրբեջանական հարաբերությունները։ Նույնիսկ Վլադիմիր Պուտինի հետ հեռախոսազրույցից և ներողություն լսելուց հետո Իլհամ Ալիևից մեղադրանքների տարափ է տեղացել Մոսկվայի հասցեին։ Նա նշել է, թե այն փաստը, որ կործանված ինքնաթիռի իրանն ամբողջովին ծակծկված էր, օրակարգից իսպառ հանում է թռչունների երամի հետ բախման վարկածը։

Ըստ Ալիևի, «Ռուսաստանի որոշ շրջանակներ գերադասեցին հավատարիմ մնալ այս վարկածին»։ «Մեզ վշտացնող և զարմացնող պահերից մեկն այն էր, որ ռուսաստանյան պաշտոնական կառույցներն ինչ-որ գազի բալոնի պայթյունի վարկած առաջ քաշեցին։ Այսինքն՝ սա բացահայտ ցույց տվեց, որ ռուսաստանյան կողմը ցանկանում է կոծկել հարցը, և դա, իհարկե, ոչ մեկին պատիվ չի բերում»,- ասել է նա։

Նա նշում է, թե ինքնաթիռը միտումնավոր չի խոցվել, բայց և միանգամից հավելում, թե «մեղքն ընդունելը, բարեկամ երկիր համարվող Ադրբեջանից անհապաղ ներողություն խնդրելը և դա հանրությանը հայտնելը ձեռնարկվող անհրաժեշտ քայլերը կլինեին»։ «Ցավոք, առաջին երեք օրերին մենք ոչինչ չլսեցինք Ռուսաստանից, բացի զառանցական վարկածներից»,- ասել է Ալիևը։

Ադրբեջանի նախագահի այս պահվածքը վկայում է, որ գրեթե չորս տարի օրեցօր «զարգացող» ռուս-ադրբեջանական հարաբերությունները լուրջ վտանգի տակ են, Ալիևի համար էլ առիթ է ընձեռնվել կտրել Ռուսաստանի հետ կապը, նվազեցնել ՌԴ ազդեցությունը տարածաշրջանում։

Այս իրավիճակում Հայաստանի գլխավոր անելիքը, եթե իրատես քաղաքականությունից գլուխ հանող իշխանություններ ունենայինք, պետք է լիներ հայ-ռուսական կապերի ակտիվացումը։ Օգտագործելով ստեղծված հնարավորությունները՝ Հայաստանը կարող էր Մոսկվայի հետ ավելի բարեկամական հարաբերություններ հաստատեր։ Բայց վստահաբար պաշտոնական Երևանը շարունակելու է նույն կուրսը։ Թերևս, ՌԴ-ին տարածաշրջանից հանելու գաղափարը սպասարկում են թե՛ Նիկոլ Փաշինյանը, թե՛ Իլհամ Ալիևը։
