Հունվարի 22-ին ՀՀ Ազգային Ժողովն ընդունեց «Մշակութային օրենսդրության հիմունքների մասին» ՀՀ օրենքում լրացումներ և փոփոխություններ կատարելու մասին» ՀՀ օրենքի նախագիծը, որի համաձայն` բացառիկ նշանակություն ունեցող մշակութային կազմակերպությունների «ազգային» կարգավիճակը չեղարկվում է: Կառավարությանը լիազորություն է վերապահվում գործող և նոր ստեղծվող մշակութային կազմակերպություններին շնորհելու «համապետական», «տարածքային» կամ «տեղային» կարգավիճակ, «ազգային» բառը հանված է մշակութային կազմակերպությունների կարգավիճակներին վերաբերող դրույթներում։
 
•Ոչ մի կերպ չի հիմնավորվել, որ նշված կազմակերպությունների նկատմամբ «ազգային» բառի կիրառումը չի արտացոլում դրանց եզակիությունը, կարևորությունը և պետության կողմից տրվող բացառիկ նշանակությունը։ Օրենսդրական նշված փոփոխությունը գործող վարչախմբի կողմից ազգային ինքնության նսեմացմանն ուղղված հետևողական քաղաքականության շղթայի հերթական օղակներից մեկն է։ Հանրակրթության պետական չափորոշչից Հայոց եկեղեցու պատմության բաղադրիչը դուրս բերելով, «Հայոց պատմությունը» «Հայաստանի պատմություն» անվանելով, դպրոցական դասագրքերում հակազգային ու հակագիտական բովանդակություն ներմուծելով և կրթամշակութային այլ նախաձեռնություններով` վարչախումբը նպատակ է հետապնդում փոխակերպելու հայ ժողովրդի ինքնությունն ու ձևավորելու լղոզված դիմագծով, ազգային ինքնությունը չկարևորող սպառողական հասարակություն։
 
 «ՀայաՔվե» ազգային քաղաքացիական միավորումը քաղաքական այս ուղեգծի հակառակորդն է։ Մենք մշտապես պայքարել և պայքարելու ենք թշնամական շահեր սպասարկող վարչախմբի հակազգային քաղաքականության դրսևորումների դեմ։ Մենք հետամուտ ենք լինելու իշխանափոխությունից հետո հակազգային բոլոր օրենսդրական նախաձեռնությունների չեղարկմանը։
