Իրանի նախագահ Մասուդ Փեզեշկիանը վերահաստատել է իր աջակցությունը երկրի պաշտպանական ձեռքբերումներին՝ ընդգծելով, որ Իրանի ռազմական ներուժը ծառայում է պաշտպանական նպատակների  և ապահովում է ազգային անվտանգությունը, գրում է Mehr-ը։

Իրանի պաշտպանության նախարարության օդատիեզերական արդյունաբերության համալիր կատարած այցի ժամանակ Փեզեշկիանն ընդգծել է, որ կառավարությունը լիովին աջակցում է երկրի պաշտպանական արդյունաբերության զարգացմանը՝ ասելով, որ Իրանի ռազմական ձեռքբերումները զսպում են ցանկացած արտաքին ագրեսիա:

Իրանի նախագահը կիրակի առավոտյան այցելել է ՊՆ օդատիեզերական ստորաբաժանում, որտեղ ծանոթացել է պաշտպանության և տիեզերական ոլորտում տարբեր ձեռքբերումների։

«Կար ժամանակ, երբ մեր թշնամին կարող էր ազատորեն հարձակվել մեզ վրա։ Պատերազմի ժամանակ (Իրաքը) անսահմանափակ մուտք է ունեցել մեր ցամաքային և օդային տարածք, ինչը թույլ է տվել նրանց գործել այնպես, ինչպես ցանկանում են»,- ասել է Իրանի նախագահը։

Նա ընդգծել է, որ Իրանի ժամանակակից ռազմական ձեռքբերումներն այժմ ապահովում են, որ իրանական հողն այլևս խոցելի չի լինի արտաքին սպառնալիքների կամ հավակնությունների համար:

Հաստատելով, որ Իրանի ռազմական դոկտրինն իր բնույթով պաշտպանական է, Փեզեշկիանը հայտարարել է. «Մեր թշնամիներն այլևս չեն կարող մեր ժողովրդին ենթարկել հրթիռային հարվածների և ռմբակոծությունների, ինչպես դա արեցին անցյալում: Այն, ինչ մենք այսօր տեսնում ենք այստեղ, Իրանի պաշտպանական հզորության մարմնացումն է, որը կոչված է պաշտպանելու Իսլամական Հանրապետությունը, այլ ոչ թե ուրիշների վրա հարձակվելու համար»:

Նա նաև ընդգծել է Իրանի հանձնառությունն իր պաշտպանական կարողություններն ամրապնդելու գործում՝ հայտարարելով, որ Իրանը կշարունակի զարգացնել իր պաշտպանական հզորությունը ոչ թե որևէ ազգի սպառնալու համար, այլ ապահովելու, որ ոչ մի երկիր չհամարձակվի խախտել իր ինքնիշխանությունը:
