Դոնալդ Թրամփը բացառիկ հնարավորություն ունի անելու այն, ինչ չի կարողացել անել Ջո Բայդենը։ Ամերիկյան NewsWeek հեղինակավոր պարբերականն է այս արձանագրումն արել՝ հիշեցնելով ԱՄՆ գործող նախագահի խոսքերը դեռ անցած տարվա հոկտեմբերին։ «Քամալա Հարիսը ոչինչ չարեց այն ժամանակ, երբ 120 հազար հայ քրիստոնյա Արցախում սարսափելի հալածանքների և բռնի տեղահանման էին ենթարկվում: Քրիստոնյաներն ամբողջ աշխարհում ապահով չեն լինի, եթե Քամալա Հարիսը դառնա Միացյալ Նահանգների նախագահ, ես կպաշտպանեմ հալածված քրիստոնյաներին, կաշխատեմ վերջ տալ բռնությանը և էթնիկ զտումներին, և մենք կվերականգնենք խաղաղությունը Հայաստանի և Ադրբեջանի միջև»,- գրել էր ԱՄՆ նախագահը նախագահական քարոզարշավի եռուն շրջանում։

Պարբերականը նշում է, թե «Ադրբեջանը փորձել է նաև սպառնալ և բանակցել Հայաստանի հետ ոչ անկեղծ խաղաղության համաձայնագրերի շուրջ՝ միաժամանակ խոսքը մեկ անելով իր գլխավոր դաշնակից Թուրքիայի հետ՝ խլելու համար Հայաստանի ինքնիշխան հողերը, ներառյալ Զանգեզուրի միջանցքը»։

NewsWeek-ը նշում է, որ այս տարվա սկզբին Ադրբեջանն սկսել է իր կեղծ դատավարությունները հայ քաղբանտարկյալների, նրանց թվում՝ բարերար և Լեռնային Ղարաբաղի նախկին պետնախարար Ռուբեն Վարդանյանի նկատմամբ, չնայած այն հանգամանքին, որ իրավապաշտպանները հայտարարել են նրանց անմեղության մասին։
Հոդվածագիրը նշում է, որ այս բոլոր հանցագործությունները և մարդու հիմնական իրավունքների ոտնահարումները տեղի են ունեցել Սպիտակ տան աշխատակազմի նախկին ղեկավար Ջո Բայդենի նախագահության օրոք։ Բայդենի լռությունն ու անտարբերությունը մեծ հաշվով Ադրբեջանին անպատիժ գործելու կանաչ լույս են տվել։ «Հենց այդ պատճառով էլ նախագահ Թրամփը բացառիկ հնարավորություն ունի անելու այն, ինչ չի կարողացել անել նախագահ Բայդենը՝ պատասխանատվության ենթարկել Ադրբեջանին»,- նշում է պարբերականը։

Արդյո՞ք Դոնալդ Թրամփը կկատարի իր խոստումները, թե՞ դրանք կդառնան ընդամենը քարոզարշավի մի չկայացած դրվագ, ցույց կտա ժամանակը։ ԱՄՆ հայ համայնքը պետք է այժմ մեծ աշխատանք տանի՝ իրականությունը գործող վարչակազմին հասցնելու համար, քանի որ ոչ ՀՀ իշխանություններից, ոչ ԱՄՆ-ում ՀՀ դեսպանից առանձնակի ակնկալիքներ չկան։
