17 февраля, после почти двух с половиной лет перерыва, на пресс-конференции выступил второй президент Армении Роберт Кочарян. Пресс-конференция, длившаяся более 4 часов, вызвала достаточно большой резонанс, который не прекращается даже в последующие дни. Пресс-конференция также получила широкое распространение в СМИ соседних стран и других зарубежных стран, особенно в диаспоре.

В пресс-конференции Роберта Кочаряна приняли участие около 50 СМИ. Многочисленные СМИ показали пресс-конференцию в прямом эфире, что свидетельствует о больших ожиданиях от выступления второго президента. «Паст» изучил цифры зрительского интереса в 16 из многочисленных СМИ, освещавших прямую трансляцию, спустя 48 часов после пресс-конференции 19 февраля.

Итак, мы рассмотрели Радио «Свобода», News.am, 5-ый канал, 24news. am, Faktor TV, Yerevan.today, Civilnet, Yerkir.am, «Еркир Медиа», страницы сайтов Hayeli Facebook и YouTube, Армлур. am, «Аравот», «Грапарак», 168.am, Politik.am, страницы сайтов A1Plus в YouTube (последние не транслировались в прямом эфире в Facebook), официальные страницы Роберта Кочаряна и «Альянса Армения» в Facebook.

Пресс-конференцию посмотрели 958 144 пользователя на перечисленных платформах по состоянию на 15:30 19 февраля. На странице радиостанции «Свобода» в Facebook, например, было зафиксировано около 400 тысяч просмотров, на странице «5-го канала» в Facebook - 53 500, на странице YouTube  -61 тысяча, на странице Yerevan.today в Facebook - 58 400, на официальной странице Роберта Кочаряна в Facebook - 114 тысяч и так далее. Повторим: речь идет о прямой трансляции всей пресс-конференции. Многие СМИ опубликовали отрывки с пресс-конференции с видеороликами, просмотры которых мы не подсчитали. Пресс-конференция, кстати, также транслировался в прямом эфире по телевидению. То есть, полная картина интереса к пресс-конференции Роберта Кочаряна намного больше.
