«Փաստ» օրաթերթը գրում է.

Մոտ երկու շաբաթ առաջ տեղեկություն տարածվեց, որ Ադրբեջանը Հաագայի մշտական արբիտրաժային դատարան հայց է ներկայացրել ընդդեմ Հայաստանի՝ պահանջելով «ամբողջական փոխհատուցում շրջակա միջավայրի և կենդանական աշխարհի զանգվածային ոչնչացման համար»: Դեռևս 2023 թ. հունվարին էր հայտնի դարձել, որ Ադրբեջանը Հայաստանի դեմ միջպետական արբիտրաժային գործընթաց է նախաձեռնել և փոխհատուցում է պահանջում «Ղարաբաղում և Արևել յան Զանգեզուրում շրջակա միջավայրի և կենսաբազմազանության ոչնչացման համար»։

Իհարկե, Հայաստանից հստակ արձագանք եղավ, մասնավորաբար Միջազգային իրավական հարցերով ներկայացուցչի գրասենյակը նշել էր, որ «հակառակ Ադրբեջանի պնդումների՝ ՄԱԿ-ի Շրջակա միջավայրի ծրագրի և այլ անկախ մարմինների զեկույցները փաստացի վկայում են, որ շրջակա միջավայրին հասցված վերջին տարիների վնասի պատասխանատուն հենց Ադրբեջանն է», և որ «Հայաստանը հերքելու է Ադրբեջանի անհիմն պահանջները, ներառյալ՝ փոխհատուցման պահանջը»:

Սակայն այստեղ ուշագրավ է այն հանգամանքը, որ այս ամբողջ ընթացքում նշյալ խնդրին այդպես էլ չանդրադարձան հայաստանյան բնապահպանական կազմակերպությունները: Ի դեպ, շատ փորձագետներ կարծում են, որ Ադրբեջանի ներկայացրած հայցի «մեղադրանքները» տարիներ շարունակ գեներացրել են հենց նշյալ ՀԿ-ներն ու որոշ անհատ բնապահպաններ: Փոխարենը նրանք շատ ակտիվ էին հունվարի վերջին ԶՊՄԿ-ում մի քանի հարյուր աշխատակցի կողմից աշխատանքների խափանման գործողությունների օրերին և ինտենսիվ պաշտպանում էին աշխատանքը բոյկոտողներին: Ավելին, նշյալ շրջանակները շարունակաբար թիրախավորում են Հայաստանի հանքարդյունաբերությունը, այդ թվում՝ ԶՊՄԿ-ն, այն պարագայում, որ վերջինս փաստացի մեր երկրի տնտեսության ողնաշարն է, խոշոր հարկատուների ցանկի ընդգծված առաջատարը: Եթե հաշվի ենք առնում, որ նույն Ադրբեջանի թիրախը հենց Սյունիքն է, այդ թվում՝ հանքարդյունաբերությունը, ապա այս ամենը ոչ միայն տարօրինակ է, այլև իր խորքում ունի անվտանգային լուրջ բաղադրիչ:
