Գյումրիի ավագանու ընտրություններին անցողիկ շեմը հաղթահարած ընդդիմադիր ուժերից երկուսը հայտարարել են, որ կսատարեն առավելագույն քվեներ ստացած ընդդիմադիր թեկնածուին։

«Մայր Հայաստան» դաշիքը, որ գլխավորում է Կարեն Սիմոնյանը հայտնել է, թե պատրաստ է «իր ձայնը տալ առավելագույն քվեներ ստացած ընդդիմադիր ուժին», և նույնը կոչ արել ընդդիմադիր մյուս ուժերին։ «Կոչ ենք անում ընդդիմադիր մյուս ուժերին վեր կանգնել անձնական ամբիցիաներից և սկսել երկխոսություն, մենք էլ պատրաստ ենք միջնորդի դեր ստանձնել և երաշխավորը դառնալ այն պայմանավորվածությունների, որոնք կարող են ձեռք բերվել»,- ասել է այդ դաշինքի առաջնորդ Անդրանիկ Թևանյանը:

«Իմ հզոր համայնք» դաշինքը գլխավորող Ռուբեն Մխիթարյանը ևս հայտարարություն է տարածել՝ հայտնելով. « Պատրաստ եմ մեր ավագանիների կազմով առանց որևէ նախապայմանի, առանց որևէ պաշտոնի հավակնելու քվեարկել գյումրեցիների կողմից առավելագույն ձայներ ստացած քաղաքապետի ընդդիմադիր թեկնածու Վարդան Ղուկասյանի օգտին, քանի որ առաջադրվելուց ես ձեզ խոստացել էի` չհաղթելու դեպքում սատարելու եմ գյումրեցիների առավել շատ քվեները ստացած քաղաքապետի ընդդիմադիր թեկնածուին»:

Նշենք, որ ըստ ընտրությունների նախնական արդյունքների, առաջին տեղում իշխող ՔՊ-ն է, իսկ ընդդիմադիր ուժերի մեջ առաջատարը Հայաստանի Կոմունիստական կուսակցությունն է, որը գլխավորում է նախկին քաղաքապետ Վարդան Ղուկասյանը։

Ըստ նախնական արդյունքների, Գյումրիի ավագանիում տեղ կունենա նաև Մարտուն Գրիգորյանի գլխավորած «Մեր քաղաք» դաշինքը, որը երրորդ հորիզոնականում է։
