Депутат парламента Швеции Эрик Хельсборн направил видеообращение по случаю 110-й годовщины Геноцида армян, призвав армянский народ помнить прошлое и смотреть в светлое будущее.

Как сообщает Арменпресс, шведский депутат в своем видеообращении, в частности, отметил:

«Привет, Армения, привет из Швеции. Меня зовут Эрик Хельсборн, я член шведского парламента. Сегодня 110-я годовщина Геноцида армян. Парламент Швеции проголосовал за признание Геноцида армян еще в 2010 году, и теперь совместно с посольством Армении в Стокгольме мы проводим ежегодную церемонию в память о жертвах Геноцида.

В этом году в церемонии примет участие г-жа Энн Гренхамер, автор книги «Мечта Армении, армяне и шведы сквозь тысячу лет». Я еще не читал эту книгу, но с нетерпением жду возможности ее прочитать.

На этой неделе в Стокгольме пройдет армяно-шведский бизнес-семинар, на котором мы обсудим шведские инвестиции в Армению и торговлю между нашими двумя странами. Я уверен, что это принесет пользу обеим странам и сделает нас богаче и сильнее. Я также надеюсь, что это будет способствовать укреплению связей между Арменией и Швецией, а также с остальной Европой.

Мои армянские друзья, братья и сестры-христиане, желаю вам всем достойно отметить День памяти в кругу своих семей и близких. Помните прошлое и смотрите в светлое будущее. Да благословит вас Бог», — сказал Эрик Хелсборн в своем видеообращении.
