Իշխանական քարոզչամեքենան Ալբանիայի մայրաքաղաք Տիրանայում կայացած Եվրոպական քաղաքական համայնքի 6-րդ գագաթնաժողովի ընթացքում Նիկոլ Փաշինյանի հանդիպումները փորձում է որպես դիվանագիտական հերթական ձեռքբերումներ ներկայացնել։ Թեպետ նույնիսկ Փաշինյանի տարածած տեսանյութերից ակնհայտ է չափազանց արհամարհական վերաբերմունքը նրա նկատմամբ։ Ընդ որում, այդպիսի վերաբերմունք դրսևորում են ոչ միայն Թուրքիայի և Ադրբեջանի նախագահները, այլև եվրոպական պետությունների առաջնորդները, որոնք նախկինում նման գագաթնաժողովների ընթացքում, նշենք, որ չափազանց հարգալից վերաբերմունք ունեին Փաշինյանի հանդեպ, ուստի բնավ զարմանալի չեն Փաշինյանի նյարդային ցնցումները, անընդհատ ինչ-որ մարդկանց մոտենալու, առաջարկներ անելու, զրուցելու փորձերը։

Ավելին, Հայաստանի կառավարության աշխատակազմը, Հայաստանի ու Ադրբեջանի ղեկավարների մի քանի րոպե տևած կիսատ զրույցը ոտքի վրա, ապա և դեմ դիմաց նստած, փորձում է ներկայացնել իբր լուրջ բանակցություններ։ Պաշտոնական Երևանը կարճ հաղորդել է, թե երկուստեք կարևորվել է Հայաստան-Ադրբեջան խաղաղության համաձայնագրի տեքստի համաձայնեցումը, կողմերը քննարկել են ընթացիկ վիճակը և կարևորել ստորագրման ուղղությամբ գործընթացի շարունակականությունը։

Որևէ առաջընթացի կամ ստորագրման ուղղությամբ պայմանավորվածություն այդպես էլ ձեռք չի բերվել, առավել ևս տարօրինակ է պայմանագրի համաձայնեցման մասին հաղորդումը, քանի որ դեռ ամիսներ առաջ հայկական կողմը հայտարարել է, որ համաձայնագիրը համաձայնեցվել է։ Անգամ սոցցանցերում տեսանյութ է հայտնվել, թե ինչպես է Փաշինյանն Ալիևին առաջարկում գնալ, սուրճ խմել և զրուցել, իսկ Ադրբեջանի նախագահն էլ պատասխանում է՝ «հիմա կգամ, քննարկում ունեմ»։

Փաստացի՝ Նիկոլ Փաշինյանի վարքից կարելի է տպավորություն ստեղծել, որ ամեն ինչ անում է տարբեր քաղաքական առաջնորդների մոտենալու, նրանց հետ մի քանի բառ փոխանակելու, այդ կերպ իր քաղաքական կշիռը բարձրացնելու նպատակով։ Չի բացառվում, որ Փաշինյանի նկատմամբ եվրոպական առաջնորդների այս դյուրագրգիռ և ոչ այնքան բարյացակամ վերաբերմունքը կապված է մայիսի 9-ին Մոսկվա մեկնելու և Հաղթանակի շքերթին մասնակցելու փաստով։ Եվրոպան դեռ դրանից առաջ էր զգուշացում արել, իսկ այժմ էլ բացահայտ վերաբերմունք է ցույց տալիս Նիկոլ Փաշինյանին։
