Նիկոլ Փաշինյանն աշխատանքային այցով մեկնել է Բրյուսել: Պաշտոնական հաղորդագրության համաձայն, այսօր նախատեսված է եռակողմ հանդիպում Եվրոպական խորհրդի նախագահ Անտոնիու Կոշտայի և Եվրոպական հանձնաժողովի նախագահ Ուրսուլա ֆոն դեր Լայենի հետ: Նիկոլ Փաշինյանը կհանդիպի նաև ԵՄ ընդլայնման հարցերով հանձնակատար Մարտա Կոսի և Բելգիայի վարչապետ Բարտ Դը Վեվերի հետ։

Թե ինչ հարցեր են քննարկվելու, գործող իշխանությունները չեն բացահայտում, բայց հաշվի առնելով Աբու Դաբիում կայացած հանդիպումը, ինչպես նաև տարածաշրջանային հաղորդուղիների բացման, այսպես կոչված «Զանգեզուրի միջանցքի» շուրջ մանիպուլյացիաները, ինչպես նաև ճանապարհն օտարերկրյա ընկերության արտապատվիրակելու որոշումը, Փաշինյանը նաև կարիք ունի պայմանավորվածությունները ներկայացնելու Եվրամիությունում։

Բանն այն է, որ Բրյուսելում էլ անակնկալի են եկել ԱՄՆ-ի հովանավորությամբ իրականացված այս բանակցություններից և դրանց պայմանավորվածություններից, և հատկապես, հաշվի առնելով Եվրամիության դիտորդական առաքելության առկայությունը, ԵՄ-ն այժմ որոշակի խանդով է հետևելու, թե ինչպես է Միացյալ Նահանգները փորձում զբաղեցնել բոլորի տեղը տարածաշրջանում՝ Թուրքիայի միջոցով։ Փաշինյանը մեկնել է Բրյուսել, որպեսզի տեղում հենց ԵՄ բարձրաստիճան պաշտոնյաներին ներկայացնի իր մոտեցումները, նաև հավաստիացումներ տա, թե Եվրամիության շահերին որևէ վնաս հասցնել չի պատրաստվում, այլ, ընդհակառակը, փորձելու է նույնիսկ ընդլայնել Եվրամիության ներկայությունը։ Եվ հենց այս նպատակն է հետապնդում թե նրա հապշտապ այցը՝ Բրյուսել։
